"I wasn’t going to write a review. This hotel seemed destined for the great archive of airport-hotel mediocrity. You know the type: you arrive, you sleep, you leave, you forget it ever existed. But then came check-in. Instead of the generic "next please" you get everywhere else, I was greeted like they’d been waiting just for me. Friendly, attentive – almost suspiciously so. Should be normal, of course. But if you’ve ever stayed at an airport hotel, you know: it isn’t. It was a two-day conference. Fully booked. Lines at reception. Controlled chaos. The kind of scenario where most hotels go into survival mode. Not here. The room? Let's call it "fine, given the circumstances". The breakfast? Standard-issue hotel buffet. But the staff? That’s where the NH Schiphol Airport flips the script. These people work like they refuse to let the place slide into irrelevance. Solutions instead of excuses. Smiles instead of sighs. Friendly in a way that somehow feels genuine, not corporate-mandated. You actually feel like a guest, not luggage with legs. So yes, the room was okay. The food was okay. But the team? Deserves a round of applause and a place in the hall of fame of "people who care in places that usually don’t". And that’s why this hotel gets a good review. Not because it’s perfect, but because it remembers the one thing most airports and hotels forget: hospitality."

"To the attention of Simeon Meijer, Guest Services / Front Office at NH Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. It seems the Staff working at the hotel on 23rd October2025 evening was the same as the one present on 25th October 2025 evening!! since I've had the same experience as another client complaining about being left alone because his reservation could not be found. I was on a business trip, 9.30 pm, my hotel room had been booked by a travel company in August but I could not find my voucher, I could only give my name but the reservation could not be found. The tall blond guy at the frontdesk just did not care about how confused and worried I was, because the hotel was full. "I don't find your reservation with your name" this is just what he could say, no sorry, no "listen we're going to try and find a solution", even call another hotel at the airport! nothing!!!!! we All the more that we were not here for just a night but I had booked 4 meeting rooms for the day after. My colleague helped me with her computer and finally found the number of my reservation on our travel company and another staff found indeed that I did have a reservation (confirmation 73B65BE7)! no excuses from him, no empathy, this is just not the standart we're waiting for in such a hotel! you must be facing tons of issues each week with your customers, so please educate and train your staff correctly to be able to cope with all requests."

"I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. My first time here. The rooms were lovely and very spacious — clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after long travels. The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere throughout my stay. The food was absolutely amazing, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. I also really appreciated the free shuttle bus to and from the hotel — such a convenient bonus! Overall, an excellent experience and I would definitely stay here again."
