Hyatt Centric Malta

"This is absolutely unworthy of a hotel carrying the name “Hyatt.” We stayed at Hyatt Centric Malta and were shocked: the rooms are dark, with windows facing a wall just a couple of meters away. It feels like living in a well — no sunlight, no sky, only gloom and claustrophobia. This is nowhere near the level expected from an international brand. The most frustrating part is the reception’s attitude. Even when we were ready to pay extra for an upgrade, we were told that “all rooms are fully booked.” But it’s clearly not true — the breakfast area is almost empty, corridors are silent, and most windows are dark in the evening. It feels deceptive and disappointing. We previously stayed at a Hyatt in Shanghai — a completely different experience, with superb service and rooms of real quality. Here, it seems the brand name has been slapped onto a property that does not live up to Hyatt standards. The only positives: a decent breakfast buffet and a few nice lobby design elements. But when your room looks straight into a wall with no sunlight, everything else is overshadowed. This property should not carry the Hyatt name and certainly should not cost this much."

The atmosphere is calm and luxurious,"

"Location was perfect, atmosphere of the hotel was nice, room was big enough and clean. Only at check-in the lady-receptionist refused to include breakfast for 2 of us from the family, one of us does not have breakfast. She said that either all or none. Because of which every day my children ate and I paid a higher price than at the reception. Such situations should have a solution at the reception, not everyone has breakfast, and the children had to have breakfast"
