Best Western Hotel Astrid

"Room is quite small, but it is perfectly adequate. Clean, soft towels, comfy bed. Paper cups for hot drinks in room, which was a bit disappointing. Staff friendly, breakfast lovely, with beautiful views over the city. 20 minute walk from Flaminio and not near a metro station. Some nice restaurants close by."

"I would say that staff was very helpful and respectful throughout our trip. We opted to walk from the closest train stop to the hotel as it was advertised as a brisk 15 minutes. It was more like 30-40 and very rough with any kind of luggage. Do NOT walk. The 2BUS got us there and was much much easier after we learned of how to get on. The amenities were acceptable and fridge/mini bar were outstanding. They did my laundry; it was fantastic! Breakfast and cleaning services were by far one of the best I’ve had at a Best Western. We would stay again; save for the location of being a little far away from the tourist areas around the Pantheon and Trevi. "

"The Hotel Astrid has a lovely old world feeling. Located next to the Tiber, and close to transit. The staff were warm and welcoming and the room was lovely and spacious. My one complaint was that the Windows did not block the street sounds, luckily traffic settled around midnight."
