Amira Luxury Suites

"We loved our stay at the Amira Suites and honestly can’t find one negative thing to say about anything. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. Thank you again to everyone there. We had a corner pool room (101) which we loved. If we return I definitely want this room again! The walk up the hill was definitely strenuous, though thankfully only short and it was bliss to get straight into “our” pool after being out for the day."

"My partner and I spent a lovely week here towards the end of September residing in a ground level pool room.The hotel's appearance is beautiful but a few things stopped me from awarding top marks which I'm sure they'll be keen to address.The breakfast is just ok,this is due to no fresh juice(l saw it being poured from a carton)the limited selection of fruit in delicate small slices and poor selection of bread which led me to feel that there was more concentration on style rather than substance.The weather was atrocious whilst we were there and our balcony flooded due to the drains being blocked,it didn’t occur to the cleaner to even bother mopping it up until I informed reception.Under the bed was also full of dust/bits which I discovered when checking the room over before leaving.The hotel is totally unsuitable for the unfit or infirm as no matter what people say or how healthy you are the hill is a chore,especially after a meal and drinks in town,ourselves had even had enough of it by the end of the week!The plus points are that the staff are extremely friendly and with the hotel being only small meant that it was easy to meet new people.The room pool was a decent depth with wonderful views over Skiathos town and all areas seemed well maintained. We had a lovely week but wouldn't return as despite the weather we've seen all that Skiathos has to offer and in my opinion there are more authentic Greek islands."

"A truly fantastic small hotel with 15 rooms, they are all so friendly and helpful. We had a pool room No 102 which was great although not the warmest of pools due to it being the end of season, but we did use it🥶😎. The rooms are cleaned daily with towel change if needed, all toiletries are provided as is a hair dryer and ironing board and iron, also free safe and A/C, the pools are cleaned at least 3 times a week. The food at the hotel is really good quality and fairly cheap prices. Being a small and friendly hotel, we met some really nice couples who we spoke to daily either around the pool or the bar area. The hill going up to the hotel is well worth getting out of breath for, just for the views. ( It’s not that bad😂) Hopefully all the same hotel staff will be here when we return next year, as they truly are a credit to the wonderful owners."
