Sellada Apartments

"Very poorly equipped for a self catering apt. Toilet/shower room in complete need of a refurb. Window and shutter in bedroom banging in the wind. Couldn’t secure it as all latches broken. Very tired furniture although bed looked ok. Very tight around the pool area, also the bar. Being an easyJet holiday we complained and were told that this apt met all the requirements for its Greek accommodation classification. We sought alternative accommodation at our cost of course. Having had poor accommodation on another Greek island 35 years ago we were hoping for better, but sadly nothing has improved apart from the apts now having air conditioning. This holiday cost us £400 more than we normally pay in Spain, Tenerife etc where the accommodation is far superior. How they justify it is a mystery. BE WARNED."

"This is a great apartment complex in a perfect location for exploring Kamari. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The apartment was fine. It was clean with a comfortable bed and the shower was terrific! Slight drawback was the sofa wasn’t comfortable for lounging on. The balcony was a lovely spot for a quiet read. The kitchen is basic with no toaster or microwave but a handy fridge, kettle and a table and chairs. We would have no hesitation in staying here again. Kamari itself if wonderful. Full of bars, restaurants, shops and great views. This hotel was a fabulous location for all of those things!"

"Stayed here with family at the end of September. Upon arrival we were met by a lovely lady and Dimitri. Dimitri provided lots of information about trips and other information regarding the island. I had requested a pool view roo. But we were given a room at the back of the hotel. I have to say I thought the room was very basic and needed an update. The shower holder on the wall was hanging off so I reported thus straight away snd this was fixed. The shower tray was dirty and the dower curtain mouldy. There was no toaster to make toast and only a basic 2 ring table top heating plate. We all found the beds very uncomfortable. There was one small wardrobe fir 3 people so the settee became a place for clothes. Only 2 kitchen chairs even though the room was booked for 3 people. Dimitris barbecue was fabulous...thus us a must for 14 euros but you will pay extra for bread tszaziki and salad. The pool is quite shaded and only a few sunbeds on one side so we didn't get around the pool as beds were taken so used the beach. Nice bar with reasonable prices. The apartments are in a great location with less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, bars, and restaurants."
