Perfect pool scene in Psalidi
The Grecotel LUX ME Kos has pulled out all the stops when it comes to its pool scene. There are three huge lagoon-style swimming spots, and each one comes with added extras. Whether you choose the seafront main pool with its lazy river and waterfalls, or the two pools edged by manicured gardens, you’ll be in for a treat. Little ones don’t get left out of the picture, either – they get their own beachfront pool that’s perfect for splashing in when they’re not at the kids’ club.
If you can tear yourself away from your sun lounger, you can get involved in games of tennis, or try some aqua aerobics. Mountain bike hire is also available for those wanting to explore the local area. If that sounds too high energy, take some me time at the Elixir Spa. There’s an impressive treatment menu on offer, or you can just relax in the sauna (extra charge), steam room (extra charge) and indoor pool. There’s also a gym, if you fancy working up a sweat.
So, let’s talk restaurants. The main eatery is a buffet place serving Mediterranean dishes – you’ll find it on the poolside, and it looks magical all lit up at night. Then you’ve got five à la carte eateries, with Greek, Asian, Italian, and seafood menus. Plus, there's a 1930s-style bar and restaurant that specialises in more creative, fine-dining cuisine. Between meals, the food court has got you covered with crêpes, ice cream, and light bites. And when it comes to drinks, you can take your pick between bars by the pool, the beach, and the lobby.
Like to explore the local area when you're on holiday? This hotel is located around a 25-minute walk or five-minute drive from Psalidi. From there, you can enjoy a 25-minute stroll along the promenade to the island capital, Kos Town. Here you'll find a whole host of historical sightseeing spots and plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants. Don't fancy walking? 10 minutes in a taxi will take you straight from the hotel to the heart of the action.
Please note: There are ramps located around the hotel facilities and elevators in the main building, but for those with reduced mobility the rooms may not be suitable.
