Iliana Hotel

"Great location in the heart of Panormos, an easy walk to the beaches, tavernas, supermarkets, taxi rank and the bus stop to get to Rethymno (buy your tickets in any supermarket). The hotel is clean and well maintained and the breakfasts are excellent (note, breakfast is not included in the room price). The staff all speak excellent English, are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I don't often revisit holiday destinations, but this one, I would."

"We found from arrival and the time we left everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We were helped by the gentleman at the dest regarding local buses and routes to take which was great as it was the first time we had visited Crete and hopefully will not be the last. The hotel accommodation was great we had an apartment with 2 balconies with fantastic views. We chose a self catering option to give us the flexibility of trips out.The ladies came in everyday to replenish any bits needed and empty the bins. Our trip was for 10 days and the bedding and towels changed regularly. I cannot give this hotel a higher rating sadly, the area also of Panorma was lovely it gave me Mama Mia vibes😍with the Tavernas, we had meals every day and cannot complain at all with the quality and portion size again everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Thank You to everyone for making this holiday special."

"What a wonderful apartment hotel. They describe themselves as basic but clean. i don't think they are basic at all. The rooms are a good size, I had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool, all the kitchen equiment I needed and the bed was very comfy. Andreas and his family were chariming and the breaakfast provided had a very extensive choice. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgable about where to go and how to get there. The hotel is very central and only spitting distance from Tavernas, shops and the beach. The pool was small but really lovely for a few gentl lengths up and down first thing in the morning or just to cool off after a day in the sunshine. The rooms were well kept and the bins emptied daily. I loved that there was also a book exchnage where you could borrow or swap a book. The atmosphere in the hotel was relaxed and very friendly. i will definitely come back. The only slight improvement that could have been made to may room was that rather than a walk in shower I had a half seated bath. It had a shower above it but it was very high to step into and the taps were placed awkwardly so it wasn't easy to stand up and shower. This was a minor point and would definitely not stop me from coming back. Thank you so much for a wonderful and relaxing stay"
