Electra Metropolis

"Ideal hotel for a visit to Athens-near all of the sites, lovely spacious rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. We had an executive room which was clean spacious and had everything you need including quality toiletries. We didn’t pay for an acropolis view so had Juliet balcony over the Main Street on floor 7. 10 th floor roof garden is stunning- probably the best view of acropolis from the city. There is a small pool we didn’t use. There is a bar with the acropolis view and restaurant which is also used for breakfast. Breakfast is good buffet with cooked and continental plus pastries and cakes. Only thing missing for us was seeds to add to Greek yoghurt although there was nuts and dried fruit. Slight warning that if you sit outside with the wonderful acropolis view you may be sharing with birds! The attached burger restaurant Lobby is worth a visit as food is good and reasonably priced although it was empty when we went. It was a 5minute walk to syntagma square and 20 minutes (uphill) to the Acropolis. Overall the perfect place to stay"
