"We stayed here for 4 nights in 2 adjoining rooms (I think this is called a 1-bedroom apartment). One room had the kitchen and sofa bed, and the other had the double bed and bathroom. There was a door between the rooms that could be closed if needed. The room was clean and the beds were really comfy. Underground parking is convenient.
The hotel is a little out of the city centre but it’s right next to a train station, with the underground and also trams close by, so it’s very easy to get around. It’s also next to a shopping centre with a supermarket and bakery. And if you don’t like the supermarket next door (it’s fine!), there’s an Aldi up the road as well.
We saved money by getting breakfast stuff from the supermarket and bakery. So handy.
The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. There’s a self-service point where you can get extra towels, soap and loo roll. It was a great place to use as a base for exploring Munich and it felt like home for 4 nights.
Only minor gripes are that the sponge in the kitchen had already been used and was quite old (we bought our own in the supermarket) and there was no plug in the kitchen sink, but one was quickly brought to us when we asked. They are supposed to clean the rooms every 3 nights but ours didn’t get cleaned, so the bins were very full when we left. The rooms are clean but the hallway carpet is quite grotty and stained.
Having said that, we all really liked it and would definitely stay again. We felt a bit sad to leave!"
