Hampton by Hilton Munich City West

"Hampton Inn locations outside the USA are always miles above what we experience in the country and this location was no exception. Clean, safe and very centrally located - what more can you ask for! It’s an easy walk to many grocery stores, cafes or the Oktoberfest grounds. Breakfast was fine with a decent amount of options and even during Oktoberfest the hotel didn’t feel too crazy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Stayed for 3 nights, with a group of 8 friends primarily visiting Oktoberfest. The hotel was perfect for our requirements. Great location for Theresienwiese and 30 minutes easy walk to city centre. Some bars including a brewery and restaurant nearby and convenience store. The hotel is also next to Donnersbergerbrucker railway stn that takes you direct to the airport. The staff were all very helpful nice bar and breakfast room although a little crowded at times. Rooms were good, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Our room was on the groundfloor next to the railway, even with the windows open there was no noise problem. I cannot understand the general rating of this hotel. For us it couldn’t have been better. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thanks."

"Just back from 5 day stay in Munich and stopped at this hotel, Great location for us just outside the city center. only problem was the location of the bed you can only get into bed from one side, ok if you are fit. this migjht be due to the room next to the lift. staff very plesent breakfast was good food could do wth neen a bit warmer. e had an everning meal in the hilton garden inn next door first night due to lat arrivel due to german custom having only one desk open for UK passport holder at Munich airport. Transport links to city was great as I used the MVV app which shows real time trains, under ground (U bahn) over goung (S Bahn), trams and buses. plus point put intp the app the hotel name (not the name of the street) and desternation the app will give you a list of transport to use even a map to walk to the station from hotel (5 minutes walk) hope this helps."
