"My wife and I booked this hotel through ID90 for 3 nights 12-02-2015 thru 12-05-2025. After confirming, we learned through the hotel the shuttle only served CDG airport until 23:45 hours and check-in wasn't available after midnight. This was very disturbing since our flight wouldn't arrive until 01:30 hours. We tried calling the hotel directly several times (about 16:00 hours on 12-02-2025) and got the answering machine. We left messages but never got any reply. We also tried emailing and texting, again with no response. We contacted ID90 and they couldn't get any response from the hotel. After our flight arrived at CDG, we got our luggage we tried getting transportation and found an Uber driver to get us to the hotel. We drove into an industrial area and arrived at the Jangle Hotel in the rain. The driver didn't accept credit cards so we had to find $50 in USD for the 33 EU fare, I'm sure we were taken in that exchange and without a receipt, as we were unloading the bags, tired and it was raining. We entered the hotel and did find a clerk at the desk. We checked-in got our key cards and went to the room, now about 03:00 hours. We noticed the room was very cool, I set the heat and as we were exhausted we fell asleep. The first breakfast, bacon was fine, eggs and potatoes were cold even though they were atop warmers. Juice wasn't identifiable, coffee was fine, chocolate was very heavy. We set the heat on high and left for the day via the shuttle to CDG and train to Paris. Upon our late return we noticed the room was still very cool but went to sleep with all the covers we could fine. Next day, skipped breakfast and upon our late return the outside temp was dropping and we requested the heat be fixed. The front desk sent the head of security to check it. He called the front desk and they told him to bring us a room heater (picture shown). He did, and we put it on high! It just didn't put out enough heat for the bathroom must less the entire room. We called again requesting another room, after a few minutes back and forth with the front desk guy, he hung up on me. After a moment or two, I decided to go down to the front desk, just then, the head security guy came to the door. We both went to see the guy at the front desk. He said; "I didn't hang up on you, he said they were full and they didn't have any other rooms". I told him, we weren't going to pay for a cold room. He appeared to be looking for rooms and then after about 10 minutes of back and forth, he told the head of security to go and look at a room as I waited at the front desk. Now, it's about 21:00 hours and we have to get up and 04:30 hours for our flight home. Finally, we were given that room, so we had to pack up and move to another room that had heat, ugh! Early next morning we checked out without getting any type of appoliage. I think this hotel may have been good in it's day (i.e. about 25 years ago) but, it leaves a lot to be desired now. Some of the employees were nice and friendly but that doesn't excuse the poor shape this hotel is in. The hanging chairs are very dangerous, chairs and long seats were extra low and a bit ratey. I suggest avoiding this hotel located in an industrial area, where the roads and any access was terrible."
