Sunrise Jade Hotel

"A wonderful, hotel for a quiet seaside holiday in the sunshine. The hotel is simply decorated, spacious, calm. The staff are wonderful. We were welcomed and treated as honoured guests, quite outstanding. The dining room staff especially. The food is very varied using good quality ingredients. Best buffet food I have experienced. Sunbed system works well. Pools well kept. Aquazumba was fun. The rooms are large, comfortable beds, good shower, beautiful sea views. Kept clean by an army of staff. Little touches that make a big impact: a sandwich and wine for late arrivals; luggage taken to room; electronic system explained; easy to use free safe; voucher for lunch given because of missing evening meal due to arrival time; all facilities at the hotel available until actual departure; luggage taken to bus. It suited us perfectly, nice to be in a hotel with adults ranging from 20s to 80s from all over Europe and further afield, all quietly enjoying themselves. Thank you"

"This was our second visit to Sunrise Jade. We had requested a high floor, so we were disappointed to be given a room on level 1 — no morning sunrise from the balcony for us this time. There were no welcome drinks on arrival either, unlike last year. The complimentary fridge was fully stocked and a sandwich was waiting for us since we’d missed dinner, which was a nice touch. After that, you’re provided with two bottles of water daily. We only ate in Sage (the buffet) once for dinner but found it much improved from last year. If you swap dinner for lunch, it’s waiter service, and the food was amazing. We also loved Ginger, the Asian restaurant — you’re given €25 credit per person, and it’s really lovely for a special occasion. We didn’t enjoy Kyklos, the Greek dine-around, as much. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the strip, or 25–30 minutes if you prefer the top end (our preference). We love the sunbed allocation system and the peaceful atmosphere during the day, with plenty of fun to be had along the strip in the evening (best of both worlds). The hotel itself doesn’t have much evening atmosphere, though. We had a late flight and paid to keep our room until 6.00pm at a cost of €90. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit to Jade — the staff are amazing. However, we wouldn’t class this as a 5-star hotel, though the pricing reflects that. We really missed watching the sunrise from our balcony this year, but it was still a great stay. However, we’ve decided to try the Pearl next year."

"This hotel is fantastic in lots of ways. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful to feel total relaxation this is the place for you. Beds are very comfortable and hotel is very quiet. If you’re looking for entertainment late into the night or somewhere lively, this isn’t the place for you. Most of the staff are friendly, we stayed half board and didn’t have a bad meal. You have the option of five different restaurants if you’re half board, a couple of them are about a 20 minute walk away but definitely worth it! We arrived late on the first day and were given a meal replacement voucher for a free lunch, lovely little touch! Minor improvements for us would include… better service at the bar (during the evening). There was two pools, infinity pool was fine but main pool was freezing. Nothing major at all! Overall, a fantastic relaxing holiday."
