Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel

"We had a 5 night stay in October and being Ambassador we got a very nice upgrade to a suite with both pool and ocean views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We used the Concierge to book day trips to Bosnia and Montenegro and a transfer to the airport upon departure. The breakfast was top notch with a full range of options including made to order eggs/omelets. A great location, being only a 15 minute taxi/Uber rider to Dubrovnik Old Town."

"I was very much impressed with this hotel when we arrived, a beautiful entrance lobby and a happy friendly receptionist, We had arrived early at around lunchtime but only had to wait around 10 minutes for our room. We were on the third floor and paid extra for a sea facing room and we were delighted with our room, big room, big bathroom and a good size balcony. The weather was fine around 20 degrees most days, but the outside pool was freezing with only a few brave souls making use of it. However there is a fairly large indoor heated pool which isn't bad. Breakfast isn't bad if you can ignore some of the more rude guests who barge if front of you etc. It wasn't helped that there was a convention on here as well, full of look at me I have a big lanyard on so i must be important, type of people. Dinner was more quality than quantity, not too much choice and we found that on most nights it wasn't bad at all. The thing that annoyed us , really annoyed us, was the Paddle tennis courts where play went on until 11pm and later every night, with noise and light pollution, made worse that these courts are owned and rented out by the hotel, totally spoiled our sitting out on our balcony after dinner, we did report this on leaving but the receptionist did not seem interested. We wouldn't return to this hotel for this reason. There is a few local shops up the road, not open on Sundays, also a river taxi to Dubrovnic at the end of the peir."

"We stayed at Sheraton Dubronik Riviera for the first leg of our Balkans trip. The front desk was so helpful and accommodating and explained everything about what included in our stay, ootiins on how to take a ride either by boat or uber to the city center. She even recommended places to eat. I’m really sorry I should have noted her name. The concierge was also helpful and Ivana who check us in every breakfast and shout out to Nelson for preparing omelet for us everyday. The one thing the hotel can improved is the coffee. We tried all options and combinations on the coffee machine still no good, I think it’s the coffee beans. All in all, we had a great time and would love to visit Croatia again."
