"Old somewhat worn out interior.Great breakfast buffet and staff.Location is perfect for weekend in Vienna and best of all the Concierge,he gave us lots of recommendations,a role model of a concierge."

"The hotel is quite beautiful and is centrally located and easy to get to where you need to go. However, the interaction I had with them was predatory, unprofessional, and really frustrating. If you’re booking here, this is not a cheap hotel - nightly rates are about $600 - $700. The room we booked was over $700, for just one night. We got a deal and booked with travel points making it a great stay during our stop in Vienna on our honeymoon. When we checked in the receptionist confirmed the hotel was prepaid and we gave a credit card for incidentals - all good so far. After checking out and reviewing my credit card statement I noticed a charge for $680 in addition to the incidental hold. When I called the hotel to ask about this they said they did not receive any payment from chase travel and they would not refund the $680. They made no mention of this during my check out, sent me no receipt, nothing. I assume they are hoping that since I don’t live in Europe they won’t have to worry about me trying to get my money back. Really sucks when you’re trying to enjoy something and businesses try to take advantage. It’s always the luxury hotels that try and take, take, take! Buyer be ware here! Also the breakfast is like 60+ euro per person, just go across the street to a normal restaurant and have a much better meal!"

"Stunning classic hotel to stay in but a few hiccups. We stayed two nights the hotel is perfectly located. We have stayed in Vienna 6 times now this hotel could be great we arrived our bags were taken from us lovely professional quick greeting on check in. The room was incredible so beautiful the only negative was the pillows were something from a hostel may as well sleep on the mattress. We had the most wonderful dinner food was incredible my main course was not warm but they made up for this and a fab bottle of Austrian wine. Breakfast next morning was awful.. the service was horrendous we were pointed to our table which we sat and waited for nobody to come take an order I had to go find a waiter to order , we then again had to find a waitress to order a coffee. We ordered an omelette which was like rubber pre cooked with fillings just put inside. Second morning we didn’t have breakfast we ate elsewhere. The day we arrived we went to the spa my husband had an amazing massage I had a pedicure which was ok it took the guy 30mins to set up I don’t know why this was done before I arrived. I had to sit there and wait. In all it took 1.5 hrs for a very average treatment not worth it."
