Flemings Selection Hotel Wien City

"The location of the hote is great, as there is tram outside, not far from subway train station, a small bakery next door, and you can go the center by foot. The interior of the hotel is warm and you can go to the bar for drinks, food, board games or even read a book. The room was clean and spacious, probably soundproof as we could not here a lot of noise."

"We had a great stay at this hotel and a good night's rest each evening. The hotel is located near the Town Hall which was a quiet area near the end of October but there was quite a bit of construction in the area. The location of the hotel was pretty good and there were some restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. The Town Hall, Hofburg Palace, Parliament Building, and Volksgarten were very close to the hotel. We had tram and metro access just a little bit down the road at the Rathaus station but believe the construction made it somewhat tricky to navigate to get to the right platform. The hotel room was interesting. The toilet was enclosed but the glass shower stall was right in the middle of the room. This was ok for us because we are married but you may want to look at the room styles or be comfortable with a friend before booking. The bed was very comfy and the room was well equipped with a large TV, coffee/tea station with a Nespresso machine and a kettle, mini fridge, desk area and plenty of storage. The shower was good but we had difficulties getting hand soap and the right shower products and had to make two requests. When we inquired about the hand soap the lady at the front desk was abrupt in stating that housekeeping was every two days...but we were persistent because we like clean hands. We even got a nice view. There is a restaurant on site that offers breakfast but we felt it was overpriced. We enjoyed baked goods from a bakery nearby. The hotel has quick access to the airport via the purple line and S7 train and we were able to quickly get to major sites around Vienna like Schonbrunn Palace and Karlsplatz easily using the metro. We booked a tour to go out of town and there was a good spot for pickup for the van. This was a good and relaxing stay for us and we thought it was the perfect base for our itinerary while exploring Vienna."

"Reception staff were polite They gave us a selection of delicious chocolates as welcome gift Spacious room with large bed , soft pillows. Be prepared for the open shower next to the bed, not partitioned off, but all works well. Two tvs in the room with ability to cast from phone was very handy. We had some delicious bar food and drinks to finish a long day"
