"Parque La Paz — A Fantastic Surprise ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at Parque La Paz with my two sons and my future wife, who is a very picky and sensible person when it comes to hotels. To be honest, I was quite nervous when we booked our holiday because I had read quite a few negative reviews. I was worried she wouldn't like the hotel. How wrong I was. We ended up really enjoying our stay, from beginning to end. The location is excellent, close to the beach, restaurants and everything you need in Playa de las Américas. The hotel itself is clean, well maintained and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. We also really appreciated having access to parking. We stayed half board, and the food was honestly one of the biggest surprises for us. There was a great variety every day — fish, seafood, turkey, pork, beef, soups, BBQ, vegetables, Spanish food, Mexican food, Asian-inspired dishes, seasonal fruit, desserts, ice cream and drinks. Breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of choice. The evening menu was different every day, which made it much more enjoyable. Our room was cleaned regularly and the bed linen was changed every two days, even though we could have chosen to have the room cleaned daily. The communal areas were also impressively clean. The toilets and public areas were spotless. And I want to give a huge amount of respect to all the staff — cleaners, chefs, waiters and waitresses, receptionists, maintenance staff and everyone working behind the scenes. You can clearly see how hard everyone works to keep the hotel running and clean. One small thing I noticed: I saw a couple of little cockroaches coming from between the flower pots outside. Considering the climate here in Tenerife, I honestly think this is completely normal and unavoidable sometimes. What matters is that you can clearly see the staff working hard to keep everything as clean as possible. Another thing that really impressed us happened on our last day. Our flight was at midnight, and unfortunately I made the mistake of asking for a late check-out on the morning of check-out. I understand that late check-out depends on how busy the hotel is and should normally be requested around 48 hours in advance. So, this was completely my fault. Even though they couldn't give us the room for longer, they still allowed us to use the hotel facilities. We could enjoy the swimming pool, use the shower rooms next to the pool and leave our luggage in a secure place until we needed to leave. In fact, I'm writing this review right now while sitting by and enjoying the swimming pool, even though we have already checked out. For me, this says a lot about the hotel. Of course, Parque La Paz is a 4-star hotel. If someone comes here expecting a 5-star or luxury-resort experience, they are probably setting the wrong expectations. But judging the hotel for what it actually is, and especially considering what we paid, we genuinely felt treated like kings. The value for money, the location, the food, the cleanliness and, most importantly, the people working here made this holiday a really enjoyable experience for all four of us. So, to everyone at Parque La Paz: Thank you for your hard work, your kindness and for making our stay such a good one. We would absolutely not hesitate to stay here again if we return to Tenerife and Playa de las Américas. 5 stars from all of us. With respect and gratitude to the whole team. Love and peace."

"We stayed at the Parque la Paz in July for 10 days. My family was looking forward to the stay as I last stayed here 33 years ago (when I was 16) it was my last holiday with my parents which possibly will be my sons holiday (Who is 16) with us. The room was very nice and modern but it was a shame that it wasn't cleaned for 3 days straight. Towels refolded to look like they were clean, bathroom not cleaned until we complained to reception. Even then the staff made it difficult by getting the handy man in to reseal the silicone in the shower then we were waiting to go to a pre booked show. We still had to get ready that night. Our room location was poor, 4th floor above the reception. The first 3 day we had an early wake up with the workmen who where doing the area at the main entrance. Getting a sunbed was hard as sunbed wars started as early as 0600 the female life guard did her best to remove towels but the male life guard didnt care. Overall we wouldn't visit again in the future. Food wise I can't comment as we went self catering, but the food we did buy from the bar was nice but over priced. Its a shame as we really looked forward to staying here. Its a shame it didn't live up to the mark. We stayed at the Marylanza last year which was 100% better than here...."
