"First up, Hotel clean tidy, needs some TLC in places but staff were great easy check in (if like us you take a Jet 2 flight out of stanstead) you will have a wait for your room but we were guided straight to restraunt for lunch.
I have said this before and I have to say it again, a minority of British guests were very unpleasant, they berated restraunt staff making at times unreasonable and rude comment. I made two requests because Red wine one day and Sangria another day ran out but it was sorted in minutes. Not like the lady waiting for chips who was well out of order to female staff demanding in an unreasonable way, chips immiediatly. Just one of several incidents witnessed.
Spanish hotel supplying a reasonable selection but if you expect 5 star service in a 3 star hotel your going to be disappointed, if you want to eat a meal which is satisfactory then you will be happy. First hotel serving what I would call english sausages made a nice change.
Have to agree some food bit cool but when replenshied no problems.
Never had an issues with getting table and lady I talk about was quick efficient and excellent getting us a table ready after previous guests.
I have to recognise her the lady in restraunt checking people in (sorry if I am wrong about age) in her 40s wearing glasses she worked very hard and was a credit to the hotel. She did not deserve some of the things said to her but was cool calm and collected again credit to hotel.
Little shop on site great for odds and sods you might want in room.
Souvenir shop great for little gifts.
We were unfortunate to be there during Storm Teresa, we had Sun most days but storm winds kept us away from pool which is great, as per normal people leaving towels etc on beds and never using them, others on island were not as lucky so we were grateful for that.
We were in room 237 and were entertained with some steamy actions by other residents as walls bit thin, and we had a very unpleasant couple next door who insisted on shouting swearing and it sounded like room being smashed up.
But after complaints to hotel it was addressed and we managed to sleep well after their disturbance was dealt with.
This is a 3 star hotel, staff were great and responded well to us both in restraunt and reception, credit to hotel.
We did go into Caleta de Fuste several times because this is where we normally holiday.
Taxi service via reception excellent only ever waited 2 or 3 minutes for cab into Caleta and back to airport.
Into Caleta and back again never more than 5 Euros, airport 14 Euros
Dont think I would accept a room above Bar/ Restraunt area bit noisy but does shut down around 11pm.
In conclusion we would go back as staff were great and food was OK hotel was getting bit of a spruce up whilst we were there.
Just hope you dont get an amourous or noisy neighbour.
Nearly forgot If I had kids particulerly younger ones food for them is a bit limited.
Cant say dont go there because that would be unfair but be prepared for some noise of an evening and accept its a Spanish hotel serving a fifferent cuisine.
Thanks for the holiday just hope weather improves but met a few people on way back who were washed out during storm so we were luckier than some.
Room cleaned four times during our stay no issues with that.
Room itself clean tidy no hotel information pack but dial 9 if you need to call reception.
One review mentioned no cups but we had two with kettle and fridge which was an asset.
Safe in room still key entry cost for that bit steep at 41 Euros plus 10 euro deposit which you get back WITH RECEIPT for week but in my view essential whilst anywhere to keep valuables. Not just this hotel.
We are back to Caleta de Fuste for next holiday but if we were to look for a bit of sun in early part of year (Without storm teresa) would recommend the hotel.
You get for you pay for and that is fair for this hotel."
