"While the Hotel itself is very nice; good breaky, pool, sauna, workout, massage, etc. and the location is convenient, we were very dissatisfied with our room (with glass separating the kitchen, shower, sink area from the bedroom). The light switches are confusing (symbols) and it was impossible to turn on just the lights in the shower/sink area so my gf could sleep while I showered without a bright light over her head. Of the four switches, two turned on exactly the same lights (bedroom and kitchen), one turned on EVERY light, and the fourth turned off any light that was on. It looked like the mirrors had back lights (two small white, circles near the bottom and electric wiring and equipment behind the mirrors) but they didn't work. I reported both lighting issues on Tuesday and by the time we left on Saturday, there was no work done. We could hear water running almost as loud as OUR shower when another nearby guest showered or flushed and one night that sound lasted all night. The floor next to the glass wall in the bedroom was warped, probably due to the tub near the other side of the glass overflowing. The lights in the kitchen area were not bright enough to read the dial on the microwave/oven. Speaking of which, there was a metal pan in that unit and when I turned on the microwave, sparks flew. The bedside tables are small, round and noisy when a glass is placed or dragged on them. There was only one pump bottle of hand and body wash for sink and shower so we had to move them when we showered. There are no shelves in the shower, so the pump body wash and (separate) shampoo bottles lived on the floor. The vents in the toilet room and shower stall did not work. The toilet room light has a motion detector for a switch so it was impossible to enter or exit the room at night without the light spilling into the room. There was only one very small wastebasket in the entire room. FInally, the knob on the door was difficult to turn - round and stiff (yet the outside knob was a lever) and if the door lock was engaged, we had to disengage it before we could turn the knob (most other hotels we have stayed at automatically disengage the lock when the inside knob (or almost always a lever) is turned)."

"Had a great time with my wife for our anniversary, I informed the hotel that we were celebrating and they placed a very thoughtful note and complimentary bottle of prosecco in our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant and bars were excellent and very reasonably priced. We used the spa facilities 2 or 3 times and they were very relaxing. The hotel is clean and modern and the rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. This was my third time staying at The WestCord Fashion Hotel and I will Definitely be staying again."
