"Great-looking hotel with some areas that need improvement We stayed at the hotel as a family of four, with our two children aged 6 and 3. Overall, we had a good holiday, and the hotel looks lovely and modern, but there are a few areas that we feel could be improved, particularly when it comes to cleanliness and child-friendly facilities. Room and cleanliness – 8/10 We stayed in a Junior Suite with a partial sea view. The room was clean, modern and comfortable, and we had no real issues with the room itself. Although the air conditioning displayed a minimum temperature of 22°C, it often felt cooler than this when switched on, which was great. One small issue for families with young children is the toilet area. The soap dispensers are too high for little ones to reach, so we ended up having to put a chair in there to help our children wash their hands. A small step stool would be a simple but useful addition. Hotel layout and facilities: The hotel itself looks lovely and modern. However, finding our room was initially quite confusing, as you have to use two different lifts to get there. The lifts could be slow at times, and on one occasion the lights went off while we were inside. Once we got used to the layout, it wasn’t a major issue, but it could certainly be confusing for first-time guests. Food and drinks – 6/10 We stayed on the standard all-inclusive package, rather than All-Inclusive Plus. The food selection was generally good, but we found the evening meals became quite repetitive, with similar dishes and recurring themes throughout our stay. At lunchtime, you have the option of eating at the poolside bar or the main restaurant, which is convenient. We also liked that the drinks available with dinner were included in our package. I believe guests staying on a half-board basis may also have access to these drinks, which is a nice touch and not something you see at every hotel. There are drinks stations around the hotel where you scan your wristband for access. While the system itself is fine, the stations are positioned quite awkwardly and could be better located. Pools and pool area – Pools 7/10, cleanliness 3/10 The pools themselves were nice, and we particularly appreciated that the baby pool and infinity pool were heated. The other pools felt reasonably warm, although one was noticeably cooler, meaning our children weren’t as keen to use it. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the surrounding pool area was a real let-down. The area often felt dirty, and we rarely saw anyone cleaning it. I’ve included photos to show what we experienced. The tiles around the pools were also extremely slippery. We saw at least 10 children slip over during our stay, including one child who appeared to hurt their knee quite badly. This is a significant safety concern and something the hotel really needs to address. Better cleaning and measures to reduce the risk of slipping would make a big difference. Luggage storage on arrival and departure: One thing that concerned us was the luggage storage area. On both check-in and check-out, the luggage room was not locked. When we questioned this, we were told that it was fine because there were cameras everywhere. However, when my wife went into the storage area and took my bag out to give it to me, it made us question how secure the system actually was. Anyone could potentially walk in and take someone else’s luggage. Having a lock on the door, or a more secure luggage collection system, would give guests much greater peace of mind. Transfers, taxis and getting around: We arranged our airport transfers directly through the hotel, which cost €140 in total. The journey took approximately 35 minutes, which was convenient. You can also book taxis directly through reception, and they arrived very quickly when needed. The Puerto Rico shopping centre is a good option for an evening out, with plenty of shops and restaurants. It was only around €5–€6 by taxi. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to Amadores Beach and back. One thing worth knowing, though, is that Amadores is not the beach you see from the hotel or from the sea-view rooms. The beach visible from the hotel is Puerto Rico Beach, which you can reach by walking down the steps in around 10 minutes. Just bear in mind that the walk back up is uphill, although you can always take a taxi back to the hotel. Overall: We enjoyed aspects of our stay, particularly the modern hotel, comfortable and clean room, pool facilities and convenient access to taxis and local restaurants. However, the repetitive evening food, confusing lift layout, unsecured luggage storage and, most importantly, the poor cleanliness and slippery tiles around the pool area stopped this from being a better experience. For families travelling with young children, the hotel has plenty of potential, but we feel the pool area’s cleanliness and safety need to be taken much more seriously. Addressing these issues would make a real difference to the overall guest experience."

"We arrived after a private transfer from the airport. The hotel is nice from the outside but you then hit the first disappointment. Anyone going away to an all-inclusive resort should expect excited, happy receptionists, this is certainly not the case here. They're ok but you expect to be blown away & you simply don't receive that. They book you in & direct you to your room, no concierge service available When you eventually get to your room, the views were amazing, ours was looking out to the beach, sunset was lovely, beautiful. The room is comfortable, maids were very late to clean our room & didn't give us fresh towels twice, which meant I had to go to Reception, no apology, just handed towels over, not great, not premium. Now, the pools. They're simply undersized. Packed pools is an expectation but it got stupid. No floaties but balls are fine, kids hurling them all over the place. Actually witnessed one poor girl get a ball directly in the face, it was too much. Tiles missing, repairs being made in the pool whilst we were swimming in it Children swimming in the pools at night time, not being told to get out is simply a drowning waiting to happen I'm afraid. That is certainly a parent thing but hotel staff should be advising against swimming when no lifeguards are there, it's dangerous & the resort risks a lawsuit for sure Food is pretty good, the same food everyday though, it's missing 'Theme Nights' & there are no a la carte options. It just doesn't feel premium in our opinion The booze is weak, bland & wishy-washy, the cocktails were the worst we've had at an all-inclusive resort, bar none. Not premium in the slightest I'm afraid. The Animation team worked their asses off & did a great job, The Greatest Showman performance was brilliant. People are walking off most nights as it gets a bit samey, so by 9.30pm, it almost seems quiet We were there 8 nights & it was a nice, peaceful, family holiday. If you're expecting the big, new, energetic hotels of Turkey, this ain't the place for you. It's a bit out-dated, the staff aren't particularly friendly, not wanting to repeat myself, but it's just not premium"

"Was upgraded to a pool room 7007 on arrival which was amazing and we had such a nice time because of it. Rooms were spacious and kids spent so much time in pool. Food was very good in general with fresh pastries in morning and plenty of food choice , one of the better all inclusive hotels i went to. Staff looked over worked and needed more staff as plates were never taken while eating. Kids good was amazing and girls were super friendly. Overall an amazing stay would have been nice to get a late check out but understand other guests were coming Entertainment wasnt bad and drinks were nice ,only thing was annoying was the all inclusive and all inclusive plus as for all inclusive it was very restrictive . Great stay thank you."
