Bungalows Vista Oasis

"Fair enough for 2 stars. Very quiet but very poor and dirty hotel. Everything old ,no entertainment (sometimes karaoke and of course bingo during the day). I would recommend it for older people, definitely not for the families with children because there's nothing to do for them at all.Food same all the time, hard to choose something after 3 days.They mixed food which is left from previous meals.No air condition at all in the rooms.You can get fan from the reception if you're lucky 😀. We're here second time but we'll not get back here for sure.Spar nearby to get some food 😉"

"Just got back from 12 days at this hotel. The hotel itself is OK the apartments are big and have either a terrace or a large balcony we had a balcony which had a nice view of the sea in the distance but are dated and a bit grubby. It is far away from the lively areas so it's nice and quiet if that's what you want but inconvenient if you like more action. The food has quite a Limited choice but what they have is nice and tasty. The pool is lovely it says salty but it is absolutely fine not strong salt at all. The only real down side to the hotel is the entertainment or lack of, some days none at all not even music by the pool and out of 12 days we had 3 or 4 hit and miss entertainment nights,although the lady doing it was good and funny . This makes for an over all dull holiday and if the hotel sorted this I would definitely return. All the staff were lovely and really helpful."

"I stayed here for a week all inclusive and wasn't expecting too much considering how little we paid. We had also read some really bad reviews. We were actually really impressed with this hotel and would happily book again for a bargain holiday. Location: The hotel is located in Sonnenland which is a little out the way from the main areas of Maspalomas and the beach. There was a Spar a couple of minutes up the road If you need anything and we found a sports bar a bit further up from the spar which showed most live sports and did good food as well! The hotel arrange a free shuttle bus every day to the beach and back which was really good. We also found that other places were easily accessible by bus and there were bus stops not far from the hotel. Room: The bungalows were nice and spacious with a kitchenette, living room, bathroom and bedroom. We also had a lovely terrace with sun loungers and table and chairs. We used a saucepan to boil water for tea and used the fridge for drinks etc. rooms were cleaned every two days and this was sufficient. There isn't any air conditioning but you are provided with a fam. The only downside to the room we found was that the beds were uncomfortable. Pool: the pool is fairly large and is split into 3 areas, a child's pool, a heated pool and a normal swimming pool. We saw the pools being cleaned every morning and there were plenty of sunbeds at the time we were there. Bar/entertainment: the bar area is located within the restaurant and is open 11 till 10.30pm. Drinks were nice and a good selection of cocktails. The entertainment was from a lady who did bingo, karaoke and other games. She really makes an effort and lots of people got involved if that is your kind of thing. Food: we found the food to actually be rather nice and varied. Breakfast was always the usual, eggs, cereal, toast, cheese and meats and fruit and yogurt. Lunch and dinner always has some variety of fish, chicken, pork or beef with chips, salad and bread. Overall we had a great stay and if you are looking for a break with some sun that doesn't cost the earth then this is a great place to stay."
