"Myself and my partner stayed here for 4 nights this week and I thought I’d leave a thorough review to help anybody coming in the future.
The good parts:
Hotel room is beautiful, bed is very large. Free drinks in the fridge which get restocked every day, really big window and we got a sea view which we didn’t anticipate before coming. The cleaners come every day and clean the room to a high standard, replenish the fridge, bring fresh towels etc. no complaints there
You also don’t need to bring towels, they have towels in the hotel room, for showers and they have separate ones by the pool that you can use.
Check in was really easy, took about 10 minutes. The reception staff was really friendly and spoke good English.
You do get free WiFi, which they give you the password for upon arrival.
The room service is also great, and very quick. They bring food up on a tray with a card machine so it’s very convenient (although on the pricier side)
Very close to public transport, and the beach and the hotel is more or less connected to the shopping centre which is huge and has everything you need.
The not so good parts:
The lifts- they take a long time. There’s about 26 floors and only 3 lifts. Sometimes it can be a 5 minute wait, sometimes when you’re trying to go down, the lift takes you to 10 other floors first which was quite annoying. I’m not sure if there are any stairs- we couldn’t find them
Room is quite dark. Walls are all dark grey and lights aren’t too great so unless you have the curtains open you can’t see much, we didn’t have ours open because our room was visible from the pool.
There’s no balcony, and you can’t open any windows. I didn’t realise when we booked that we didn’t have a balcony but that might be my own fault. Some rooms do.
Adding on to the last point, the room has aircon but we couldn’t figure out how to work it. Although the room stays quite cool so we didn’t really need it.
The pools- there are two pools one on floor 3 and one on 23. Both get really really busy, we didn’t have really any chance to use them. We went to both and all sunloungers were taken and the people using them weren’t actually using the pool, which was quite annoying. We did go in the pool on floor 3 at one point, it was about 3pm and no beds, and it was quite cold and the pool was really shallow only about 75cm deep.
Walls are quite thin, we could hear next door a few times, but other than that we didn’t hear much.
When we arrived we had to pay a fee of 75€ and we couldn’t figure out why. It might’ve been tourist tax, we didn’t question it but thought it was very high, as it said on our booking that we only had to pay 35€.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the pool& the lift were inconvenient but didn’t have too much of an effect on our stay. We had a nice holiday and would recommend this hotel as long as those things don’t bother you!
Thankyou princess hotel!"
