"Missing Personal Belongings and Disappointing Customer Service I was extremely disappointed with how Hôtel Rochechouart handled the loss of my personal belongings and, even more so, with the complete lack of follow-up from both the hotel and its management group, Orso Hotels. During my stay in Paris for a wedding, I was moved from my original room to another room. I had not yet checked out of the hotel; my checkout was scheduled for the following day. After the move, I realized that my Frame blazer, which I had left hanging in the closet of my original room, was missing. I later remembered that my white sleeveless Chiara Boni blouse was underneath the blazer, so both items had been left together in the room. I brought the missing blazer to the hotel’s attention, but neither item was ever recovered. What has been particularly frustrating is the lack of communication since then. I emailed the hotel and received an initial response, but my subsequent follow-up emails went unanswered. I also contacted Orso Hotels directly multiple times in an effort to get the matter addressed, but I received no response from them either. I had not even checked out when I first reported the missing blazer, so there was an opportunity to investigate while I was still a guest. Despite my efforts to follow up after my stay, I have never received a satisfactory resolution or even the courtesy of a response to my subsequent inquiries. I understand that belongings can occasionally be misplaced, but I would expect a hotel to take a missing-property report seriously, conduct a thorough investigation, and communicate with the guest. Being ignored repeatedly by both the property and its management group is unacceptable. Losing personal belongings is frustrating enough. The lack of communication and accountability made the experience considerably worse. I am sharing this experience so that other travelers can make an informed decision when choosing accommodation in Paris."

"Hotel Rochechouart is my home away from home, and has been for the past 3 years, where I have receive exemplary service and attention during my busy fashion week travels. Vanessa & the concierge team take really great care of their guests, I've just returned from an almost 2 week stay, and am looking forward too seeing the team again on my next extended trip."
