"Just returned home from Hoopoe Villas. We found our apartment exceeded what was shown in the pictures. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive. What I enjoyed most was the small gestures. They furnished us with a bottle of wine because the pool temperature was too cold for a single day, and left a box of chocolates on valentines day. We will certainly look to return soon"

"We have just returned from a week spent at Hoopoe Villas in Playa Blanca and felt compelled to share the delights of this fabulous 2 bedroom rental villa. The first thing to impress is the security here. No access without a code. The villa was in a quiet residential area served by both a taxi rank and bus route into town although we did hire a car for the duration. We were met by Laura who proudly showed us around the place that was to be our home for 7 nights. Delighted is an understatement! Spacious, bright, clean and with every amenity you could possibly wish for including a welcome pack with essentials to get us started. Fully equipped and with fabulous showers and a luxurious bath in one of the 2 bathrooms, it was really impressive. The air conditioning in all rooms worked effectively and we slept so well in the most comfortable bed. There was plenty of wardrobe space and a safe in the closet. Both the master bedroom and lounge/ kitchen had patio doors that overlooked the rear of the property. When the patio doors were opened, WOW! Just WOW! Firstly, a real treat was the fact that the villa overlooked the sea. To be able to watch the glistening of the water was fabulous. When you turned your head the other way the mountain came into view. The villa nestled perfectly in between. The beautifully tiled external area housed a bubbling jacuzzi alongside a fabulously large pool. We had cushioned sun beds, a parasol to keep off the sun’s rays and an outside table and chairs for al fresco dining. The location of this villa was one of the highlights for us as it was a short walk to the promenade that ran all the way along the coastline to the fabulous marina and beyond. We walked this every day stopping at one of the many cafes or bars for coffee or a cooling beer, whilst watching the waves lap the shoreline. Playa Blanca is a beautiful place with the sea to the fore and the mountains behind and Hoopoe Villas are the perfect place to experience all it has to offer. We cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough."
