"One of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The biggest issue is that the photos online are incredibly misleading. The reality is nothing like the polished images used to advertise the resort and we felt completely let down from the moment we arrived. The rooms were tiny, dated and extremely basic, more like prison cells than holiday accommodation. They were dark, uninspiring and certainly nowhere near the standard we were expecting. The pools were absolutely freezing and practically unusable for most of our stay, which was a huge disappointment considering they are one of the main selling points of the hotel. The food was barely acceptable. There was very little variety, much of it was repetitive and the overall quality was poor. The drinks were equally underwhelming and felt more in line with what you’d expect from a budget 3 star hotel. Overall, this hotel massively overpromises and underdelivers. We genuinely felt misled by the marketing and left wondering how this place receives positive reviews at all. We would never return and certainly wouldn’t recommend it to friends or family. Save your money and book somewhere else."

"Had a wonderful time at the Lindos Royal Resort with family and friends (which included kids, young couples and over 50's like us!) for our daughter's wedding. The staff right across the hotel were very friendly, hard-working and helpful - a very special mention to Nektaria and Valasia for the wedding planning and managing any room issues for our group, they were both so professional and efficient. The food and drink was plentiful and delicious, there was always something to suit everyone in our group of 39! There are several pool areas for kids and adults but we liked the beach which is a few minutes walk from the hotel - there is a small sandy beach and the larger stony beach which has loungers and parasols (no charge). The hotel is currently renovating some accommodation blocks but this did not affect our holiday stay. Our room was a bit 'tired' decor-wise but was kept spotlessly clean by the housekeeping team on a daily basis. Some guests in our group had been allocated more modern, renovated rooms - just the luck of the draw I suppose but again this did not affect our holiday in any way! Overall we had a brilliant time and would definitely come back and stay at Lindos Royal again in the future. Well done and thanks again to the lovely staff!"

"We have just returned home from an unforgettable two-week stay at Lindos Royal, where we celebrated our wedding surrounded by 40 family and friends, and we honestly cannot thank the team enough for everything they did for us. Planning a destination wedding for such a large group can be stressful, but from the moment we arrived, the team at Lindos Royal made us feel completely at ease. Every request was met with professionalism, kindness and a genuine desire to help. A very special thank you must go to Nektaria, our wedding coordinator, who was simply outstanding from start to finish. Her organisation, communication and attention to detail throughout the planning process ensured our wedding day was everything we had hoped for and more. I would also like to recognise Valasia, who did an exceptional job looking after not only us but our entire wedding party. With 40 guests staying at the resort, it was inevitable that a few room issues and requests would arise. Some guests required room changes, others needed kettles, irons, extra pillows and various additional items. Every single time something was brought to the team's attention, it was resolved quickly, professionally and without hesitation. We asked, and we received. Valasia handled everything with a smile and made what could have been a complicated operation feel effortless. The food and beverage team were fantastic throughout our stay. We had guests ranging from ages 1 to 70 and the staff were always patient, accommodating and helpful, especially when it came to children's requests. As restaurant owners ourselves, food was one of the most important aspects of our wedding, and we cannot praise Stavros and his culinary team highly enough. The wedding meal was exceptional in every way. The quality, presentation and execution were outstanding, and our guests genuinely have not stopped talking about it since returning home. It was one of the highlights of the entire wedding weekend and exceeded all expectations. The food throughout the resort was also excellent. One thing that really surprised many of our guests was the quality and variety available in the all-inclusive restaurant. There was genuinely something for everyone at every meal. The selection changed regularly, meaning it never felt repetitive during our two-week stay, and the food was consistently fresh, well-prepared and replenished frequently. Even during busy periods, dishes were kept topped up and presented well. We regularly found freshly cooked meats, fish, salads, pasta dishes, local Greek specialities, themed evenings and plenty of options for children and more selective eaters. The quality was far above what many people would typically expect from a large all-inclusive resort. The pool bar food also deserves recognition. It offered a good selection throughout the day and was perfect for those wanting a relaxed lunch without leaving the pool area. One small enhancement that would be welcomed would be the addition of complimentary ice cream or ice pops throughout the day for all-inclusive guests, particularly during the hottest afternoons. The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning sea views, lovely pools and excellent facilities. One thing our group commented on repeatedly was how easy it was to find sun loungers. Despite staying during a busy period and having such a large group, there were always plenty of loungers available around the various pool areas. The pools and surrounding areas were also kept exceptionally clean and well maintained throughout our stay, creating a really relaxed atmosphere. The proximity to the beach is another huge advantage. Within minutes you can move between the pools and the sea, making it ideal for families and groups with different interests. The à la carte restaurants were another highlight and provided some fantastic dining experiences during our stay. If I was to suggest a couple of improvements, additional evening seating around the pool bar would be beneficial. It was a popular meeting point for guests in the evenings, and extra seating would make it even more enjoyable. I would also love to see the beautiful cocktail bar area utilised more. It is a stunning space with a fantastic atmosphere and huge potential, yet it felt somewhat underused during our stay. It really is one of the nicest areas of the resort and could become a real focal point for evening entertainment and socialising. A special mention must also go to the housekeeping team. The cleaning staff work incredibly hard, often in very high temperatures, and our rooms were consistently cleaned to a high standard throughout our stay. Their efforts certainly did not go unnoticed and contributed greatly to the overall experience. One thing worth mentioning for future guests is mosquitoes. You're holidaying in Greece during summer temperatures, so naturally there will be mosquitoes around. This is not the fault of the hotel or its staff. We found the mini supermarkets on site extremely useful for picking up bug spray, bite creams and mosquito plug-ins if needed, and they stocked everything we required. Lindos is also only a 5-10 minute taxi journey away (€10-15) and apart from having exceptional restaurants, bars, beaches & of course the ancient Acropolis, there is lots of shops & a pharmacy if anything further is needed. No hotel is ever absolutely perfect, and there are always small areas that could be improved upon. However, what impressed us most was the attitude of the staff whenever something needed attention. Problems were solved, requests were accommodated and guests were genuinely looked after. Perhaps the greatest compliment we can give is that many of our guests are already talking about returning next year. The fact that so many people left wanting to come back speaks volumes about the experience they had & the value in what they received while they were there. At the end of the day, a holiday is what you make of it, and Lindos Royal provided the perfect setting for creating wonderful memories. For our family, our friends and our wedding guests, there was genuinely something for everyone, and all 40 of us came home having had an amazing time. Thank you to Nektaria, Valasia, Stavros, the housekeeping team and every member of staff who helped make our wedding and holiday so special. We will always look back on our time at Lindos Royal with very fond memories and hope to return again in the future."
