"I have been staying at the Lordos for more than 25 years, an excellently run hotel, the staff are both friendly & efficient, The location is close to various local bars & restaurants, it is also only about a 15 minute bus ride to Larnaca. This is an ideal holiday spot for people looking for a quiet & relaxing holiday."

"We had another truly wonderful stay at Lordos Beach Hotel, and once again, we cannot praise the hotel and its incredible staff highly enough. Nicholas the hotel’s manager runs the Lordos Beach Hotel like a family and it shows. What makes Lordos Beach so special is not simply the lovely setting, facilities and atmosphere — it is the people. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcomed, valued and cared for. The level of service throughout our stay was outstanding, and there was never a moment when we felt that anything was too much trouble. We would particularly like to thank the wonderful reception team — Vasilis, George, Savva and Magda. Every one of them was friendly, professional and incredibly helpful. They always greeted us warmly and went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. Their kindness and genuine warmth made such a difference to our stay. A very special and heartfelt thank you must go to Elena, one of the managers, who deserves particular recognition. When my husband became unwell during our stay, Elena went above and beyond anything we could have expected. Her compassion, kindness and genuine concern for us during what was a difficult and worrying time meant more than she will ever know. She didn’t simply do her job — she showed genuine care. We will always remember her kindness and are incredibly grateful. We would also like to mention Michaela, Andrea, Marcela and Galena, together with all the wonderful breakfast staff. Every morning we were greeted with smiles, warmth and excellent service. They worked incredibly hard, yet always managed to make us feel welcome and looked after. Their attention to detail and friendliness really helped make our mornings so enjoyable. Also a big thank you to Alona and Gregoris at the Poseidon Bar. They were warm, friendly and their chocolate milkshakes were delicious. We have stayed at many hotels over the years, but it is rare to come across a team where so many members genuinely care about their guests. At Lordos Beach, we never felt like just another room number — we felt like valued guests. The kindness, professionalism and personal attention shown to us throughout our stay made it particularly memorable. Even during a difficult time, when my husband was unwell, we felt supported and cared for, and that is something we will never forget. Lordos Beach Hotel should be incredibly proud of its staff. They are the heart and soul of the hotel and are the reason guests return. Thank you to everyone who looked after us and helped make our stay so special. We are already looking forward to returning next year and seeing all those familiar faces again."

"Unfortunately, our recent stay at Lordos Beach Hotel was a huge disappointment and fell well below the standard we expected. What makes this experience particularly disappointing is that I have stayed at Lordos Beach Hotel and its sister hotel the golden bay many times over the past 35 years. Sadly, this experience has left me feeling that I will not return. Arrival and check-in: When we arrived by taxi, nobody came to assist us with our luggage. We had four suitcases, two toddlers, a car seat and two prams, yet we were left to manage everything ourselves. Not the welcome you expect. Room and housekeeping: On arrival, we found cigarette butts on our balcony, which was completely unacceptable. The rooms are also small, with virtually no usable wardrobe space, making it difficult to unpack or comfortably store belongings as a family. I did ring down and request another room but I was dismissed and told the room I have is the room I booked. Housekeeping was poor throughout our stay, which only added to the disappointment. Safety concern – slipping in the rain: During our stay, it rained and I slipped at the front entrance of the hotel, falling heavily and really hurting my back. There were no wet floor warning signs in the area- they did come and put some up after I slipped and fell. This was extremely concerning and unacceptable. Guest safety should be a basic priority, particularly in areas where rain creates slippery surfaces. Lifts: The lifts are tiny and clearly inadequate for the size of the hotel. On one morning, we waited approximately 20 minutes just to get a lift downstairs. This is particularly frustrating when travelling with two toddlers and a pram. Breakfast: The breakfast offering was underwhelming, lacking even basic fruit options such as watermelon and bananas. The selection felt poor and disappointing. Even a frappe is served in a paper cup. Pool bar: Service at the pool bar was painfully slow. Kids' club: The kids' club was closed for our stay because the member of staff responsible was off. If a hotel promotes itself as family-friendly, having no alternative cover or arrangements in place is extremely disappointing, particularly for families booking specifically for these facilities. Spa: I also booked a lymphatic drainage massage, but what I received was not lymphatic drainage massage as advertised. This was particularly disappointing when paying for a specific treatment. The positives: The pools are genuinely the only highlight of this hotel."
