"We recently stayed at Tusan Beach Resort from 4th-14th October and we loved it.
Reception
Very friendly and helpful, and staff helped us to the room with our bags and any queries we had, were answered quickly.
Rooms
Rooms were lovely, few finishing touches could have made it more 5star, but rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels as required. View from our room was incredible, we payed extra at booking for a sea view and it delivered.
Facilities/Pool
Pool was cold, but as long as you get straight in, you soon warm up. If you try to do it in stages, you'll never get in. The main pool was big, and clean. There were other pools but we didn't use them however they were also clean. Sunbeds were okay, some were broken but I tested all of them before settling down and I had no issues, but a few people had the back of the bed go from upwards to downwards quickly. There were no sunbed wars, maybe it was the time of the season but we never struggled to get a bed even on the day we got to the pool at 1pm, there were plenty.
Restarant
Only one restaurant was available with plenty of options to suit everyone. The choice for salads and deserts were incredible. I would say that dinner time, was a nightmare. No organisation whatsoever, people queing for the hot options but the queues were so long, it went past other options and you ended up in the queue and people walking past food. Example, waiting for the fried food, the queue was past the chips but a lot of the queue didn't actually want chips. It did mean by the time you had all your food on the plate it was cold. I don't really know how they could improve the dinner time chaos, option would be maybe two seperate sittings. I stayed in Tunisia in May and there was two time slots, that you were booked for 18:00-19:30 and 19:45-21:00. It saved a lot of queing.
Al a carte
We were allocated one al a carte meal for our stay and we opted for the Italian. It was the worst meal of the holiday. The chicken main, was basically 5 chicken goujons, some cauliflower and brocoli, with 1 potato wedge. Nothing Italian about it. If we came again, we would probably just stick with the buffet.
Beach
Absolutely stunning, and clean. Water was slightly warmer than the pools with a life guard on duty.
Wild animals
We absolutely loved the wild dogs and cats. They are clearly looked after and are all friendly. We fell in love with the dark brown dog, we called him Bob. He likes to run up and down the beach and pops around the pool and bar on an evening for some fuss. He likes chicken. (Image attached). Please give him a fuss from us and don't leave your flip flops unattended, he loves them.
Bars
Plenty of options for alcohol, however they are not watered down and if you ask for a vodka coke its 75% vodka so you may need to water it down yourself. Beer is lovely and also not watered down. Plastic cups around the pool, and glass in the bar.
Entertainment
Animation staff are a lot, especially the one young lad. I repeatedly told him i wasn't interested in his raffle and bingo and was called grumpy. No means no. Eventually they all realised i wasn't interested and didn't bother me again. Evening shows were okay but quite late starting at 22:15 so we missed most of them.
Location
The views are incredible, there is a running track next to the hotel that goes around the lake if you're into that (like me). The bus stops right outside the hotel and is every 10 minutes, and its just €1 each. 10 minutes into the town.
If we decided to come to this area of Turkey again, we would absolutely stay in this hotel. Thank you for a great trip. Please look after those dogs and cats :)"
