"We are staying from September 29th to October 4th and I am writing this from the hotel right now.
I will explain everything in detail. We came here based on a recommendation on Instagram and they gave us a nice room.
General cleanliness: The hotel rooms and common areas are very clean. But I can't say the same for glasses, forks, spoons, and plates. The rooms are cleaned daily; several staff members clean the elevator, floors, and toilets every day.
We've arrived at a rainy time of year, so there's absolutely nothing to do for entertainment at this time. We are a family with children. There are coin-operated toys inside and a small playground outside, but it's not enough for a very active child, and the hotel isn't very big anyway.
The beach and sea are very beautiful, and there's a food and drinks area, but you have to wash your feet constantly before leaving, which is a bit tiring. Even getting water and returning to the source becomes a torment. There's always a queue at the beach bar, and they only serve beer, juice, water, and mostly snack-style food.
The food in the main restaurant is incredibly disorganized.
For example, the sauces are left behind, but the dish you're going to pour the sauce on is further ahead, so you don't have to move it back and forth; the hotel staff, especially the German tourists, get annoyed. For example, they've had lamb tandoor for 3 days, and they made wedding soup with the leftovers from the tandoor; they've had the same soup for 3 meals, last night's soup and this morning's soup. It's always the same dishes; there's a lot of variety, but nothing in terms of taste. The pasta and eggs taste burnt coming from the pot they're cooking in. Of the desserts, the rice pudding was good, but I didn't like the rest.
There's a wide variety of items, but the sweets and pastries are of cheap bakery quality. The appetizers are bland and tasteless, and while there are many cheese options, they're all pretty much the same.
I wasn't very impressed with the product quality either; the materials used inside the rooms were all mid-range or below average.
The alcohol quality is good, they make great cocktails, no complaints there.
The real problem areas
The hotel's Turkish bath is open from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and only accepts guests who aren't using the service. For example, at 2:30 PM, we were told to leave as if they were kicking us out. At that time, most people are either at the beach, the pool, or having dinner. They leave insufficient water in the room; if you want, you can get your own room service from reception. You constantly have to carry water to your room. On our first day, I needed a charger, and when I asked the gentleman at reception in the evening, the treatment was like that of a coffee shop. I wanted to leave immediately because I understood it wouldn't be a big deal. They said, "Bring your phone here, we can leave it, I can't give you a charger," or "There's a market over there, a phone shop over there, go buy one." The minibar already has drinks for you on the beach: 2 Cokes, 2 Fantas, 2 beers, 2 sodas, and 2 fruit juices.
They've been trying to convert the indoor pool to heated for about 3 days now but they haven't done it. It's cold outside, there are no activities to do, we're just sitting around doing nothing in the symphony bar.
In guest relations, there's a lady, I think she's from Central Asia, but it's impossible to talk to her or understand her; she doesn't listen, and you can't understand what she's saying. When a problem arose, he said he wouldn't do it, acting as if it were his own property.
In terms of staff, Dudu Hanım works well in the restaurant, the cleaning staff works well, and Karakaya, a colleague at the bar, works well; that caught my eye.
This facility fell far short of my expectations. Will I ever come back here? Absolutely not."
