"Normally I'm not one for writing reviews, however with the amazing experience me and my wife had during our stay, it would've been an insult to the wonderful staff to not give them a shout out.
The resort is located a quick bus journey away from the old historic city in Side, which is absolutely beautiful to see. Sadly there was restoration works going on with the amphitheatre and some temple columns so we couldn't gain access into all ares, but I'd rather they were made safe for future generations to admire and enjoy.
The resort itself has essentially has 2 outside common pools, however one is 2 massive pools joined together, so technically 3. Along with those, they have a private pool for their vila guests, 2 children's pools and an inside pool by the health club. To top that off, they also have a really nice private beach which was a 2 minute walk from our room, but other rooms are closer depending on where you book. The beach and pools have plenty of sun loungers (more than I've seen anywhere else), but also have really cool private cabanas you can book at an additional cost.
The bars are well stocked with the staff knowing a wide range of cocktails of which we indulged in as much as we could.
We stayed in a room with a decent sized balcony and a pool view, which was super spacious and super clean. Oddly enough I think this was one of the more basic rooms and I can't honestly fault it. The room comes with all the things you'd expect like draws, loads of cupboard space, safe, air con, desk, 2 massive sofas, coffee table, TV, tea/coffee station, mini bar (with all drinks included and restocked daily) and a very generous bathroom with massive shower. My only complaint about the room would be that I found the bed (which was huge) far too hard, which hurt my back, but I understand that they have to cater for many guests of all shapes and sizes.
Being somewhat early bed goers, we could hear the music coming from the ground floor Piano bar, but in all fairness it's all over around 22:45 so not a biggie at all and even then it really wasn't loud or overly offensive.
The buffet was something else. Absolutely huge with a hot food section, cold food section, desert section, pastries/ice-cream section and fridge containing stuff for the little ones like baby food, yogurts, flavoured milks etc. The quality of the food is only surpassed by the amount of choice you have. I can't explain just how much you have to chose from. We would eat so much that most of the time we skipped lunch. I'm defo carrying some extra pounds now.
We ate in the Turkish restaurant one of the nights and I wasn't particularly impressed. I'm Turkish myself so having grown up with all those foods, it left something to be desired. We both preferred the buffet.
I wanna make special mention of the staff at the resort, who are all an absolutely fantastic. They all went out of their way to provide outstanding service without being too intrusive, which I despise. They have the perfect balance of attention to service without being too much and I love that. On our arrival, which was around 10 minutes from end of dinner service, they took our suit cases, hopped us on a golf cart straight to the buffet, which was kept open specifically for us just so we'd have a full selection of food. I wanna make mention of one special person in particular who was beyond awesome. One of the entertainers called Elif who always had a smile on her face, always had the best energy and always came to chat with us around the resort or in the Piano Bar, which is where we spent most of our nights. She had the best relationship the hotel guests that I've ever seen and she's an absolute credit.
All in all, we stayed 10 days, including flights, airport transfers and all inclusive for around £1,500 in total so in terms of value I can't find any fault with that. We booked via Tui and it was all a smooth process. Highly recommend."
