"It all starts with the friendly welcome in the main hall (check-in level) which is really very atmospheric thanks to plethora of plants that make the hall resemble a kind of oasis. After downloading the hotel app, we were assigned our personal guide - Nezir - througout our stay. We could express our needs 24/7 via chat function and always got immediate response (Thank you Nezir!!). This was not the very first time that we received an app of the hotel where we stayed but this one was the most effective one. Nezir then showed us around and provided us with the most important/useful information about the hotel.
Our room with sea view was generous in size, very clean and with all the amenities you expect from a quality 5*. Especially worth mentioning are the generous storage possibilities in the room. The king size bed was very comportable although some may feel the bed matress as somewhat soft, but we did not have any reason to complain about it.
The first dinner on our first day gave us the impression, that we as a couple of 50+, may not qualify for the typical guest structure at NG. Indeed, the vast majority of guests were young couples with small children, probably in the age range of 1-10. Given the max. capacity of some 1400 beds, it may give an idea about the number of (very) young guests. Nevertheless, we did not feel unconfortable at any time about this since the buffet restaurant with its internal and external areas did not seem overcrowded during the stay. At any time, we did not face any problems about finding a nice spot to enjoy our breakfast or dinner.
If talking about the food: it is not exaggerated when we say that the quality and richness of the buffet was unprecedented, even when it is safe to say that the buffets in 5* hotels in Türkiye are generally very very good. During our eating, we were mostly served by the waiter Memet, to whom we would again like to thank wholeheartedly for his very kind and welcoming services, which also added to our overall satisfaction.
Since it was very windy the first two days, we enjoyed lying closest to the pool or in the 1st row of beach chairs. Since the pool area is not very wide to absorb the big number of guests, it requires that the beach lounges are arranged in 3 rows. However, additional beach chairs are arranged at the bay (check hote photos), so it is up to the choice of the guests whether have seats at the pool or beach area. Naturally and as mentioned, many families also prefer to be close to the pool in order to watch their kids closely. So, it may get a little loud from time to time but there are alternatives if couples like us want to have more privacy. The adult pool is an excellent choice for this purpose and highly recommended. It is a pool located in an upper area within trees that make the place very idyllic. You will enjoy absolute tranquility and be nicely served by the young waiter "Sefa" who is very kind and refreshes you with cold drinks and creative coctails. Another possibility would be the secret beach, that we did not experience but it also could be a good choice for more privacy for those who rather like to swim in the sea than in a pool.
So this is the brief summary of our stay, but wait, maybe one word about the various restaurants. There are a number of excellent restaurants available, if someone wants to enjoy a more intimate dinner which comes at a cost of 50€ per person. We were in one of these restaurants (Scallops) only one time and had a magnificent experience. It must be said that these restaurants face heavy competition from the exquisite buffet, but given the value you get for your money, having a restaurant visit for a tête à tête with your spouse is never a bad idea."
