"📌 Please note: This hotel was part of a travel industry familiarisation trip, so this review is based on my observations of the hotel, bedrooms & facilities. Where I’ve stayed or eaten at a hotel, I’ll always make that clear.
Following my recent post, Papillon Ayscha was one of the hotels quite a few people asked me about, so here it is!
This was actually one of the hotels I’d been wanting to visit for a long time. I’d seen it recommended so many times in this group over the years, so I was really pleased it was included on our itinerary.
I have to say… it exceeded my expectations.

🛏️ Rooms
The bedrooms were lovely. I’d read that the hotel’s last major refurbishment was in 2014, so I wasn’t expecting them to feel particularly modern, but honestly, they were immaculate. They felt bright, spacious, extremely well looked after & I certainly didn’t walk in thinking they looked dated.
The hotel has a huge choice of accommodation too, including Standard Rooms, Executive Rooms, Family Rooms, Select Villas, King Suites & luxury villas sleeping up to 10 people, so there’s something for everyone.
⸻
🍽️ Food & Drink
We didn’t eat here, so I can’t comment on the food itself. However, after looking around, there certainly isn’t a shortage of choice. Alongside the main buffet restaurant, there are six à la carte restaurants serving Italian, Turkish, Mexican, Far Eastern, seafood & steak/seafood.
There’s also a lovely patisserie, coffee house, beach snacks, Turkish pancakes, hot dogs, donuts, ice cream & plenty of bars throughout the resort.
If you’re someone who likes lots of food options throughout the day, I don’t think you’d be disappointed.
⸻
🏊 Pools, Beach & Facilities
The grounds were absolutely beautiful. Everything felt really green, spacious & immaculately maintained, which gave the whole resort a lovely relaxing feel.
The hotel has:
🏊 Large outdoor pools
💦 5-slide aquapark
🏖️ Private sandy beach
🧖 Spa, Turkish bath & wellness centre
🏋️ Fitness centre
🎾 Tennis courts
⛳ Golf facilities
🎭 Professional evening entertainment including dance shows, acrobatic performances, themed parties & pier parties.

👨👩👧 One of the Best Kids’ Clubs I’ve Seen
This really stood out to me.
The Papy Kids Club runs from 10am until 11pm, which is fantastic for families.
It’s split into different age groups:
👶 1-3 years (with parent supervision)
🧸 4-7 years - Mini Club
🎮 8-12 years - Maxi Club
🕹️ 13-17 years - Youth Club
They’ve got a LEGO room, PS4 room, cinema, arts & crafts, workshops, playground, mini disco, sports, competitions & so much more. My little girl would absolutely love it here. I genuinely think I’d hardly see her all holiday! 😂

⚽ Something I Thought Was Really Different
Papillon actually has its own Kids Sports Academy. Children can take part in football coaching, swimming, tennis & even golf lessons.
The football academy offers free group coaching six days a week, while swimming, tennis & golf lessons are also available, with private coaching if wanted.
Even better, once a month the children staying across the three Papillon hotels come together for a football tournament at Papillon Belvil.
If you’ve got football mad kids, I honestly think this would be an amazing holiday for them.
⸻
❤️ What I Loved
✅ Beautiful green grounds
✅ Bright, welcoming reception
✅ Lovely atmosphere throughout
✅ Fantastic children’s facilities
✅ Huge range of activities
✅ Plenty of food & drink options
✅ Something for every age group

🤔 Things to Consider
If you enjoy wandering out every evening to bars & shops, you’ll probably find yourself getting a taxi into Belek. For me though, that’s not really a negative. Once you’re inside the resort, there’s so much going on that I think most people would be more than happy staying put.

👨👩👧 Who I Think It’s Best For
⭐ Families
⭐ Couples
⭐ Multi-generational holidays
⭐ Active children
⭐ Anyone wanting lots of activities without leaving the resort

💬 My Overall Thoughts
This was honestly one of the biggest surprises of the trip.
I’d wanted to see Papillon Ayscha for a long time because I’d heard so many good things about it, but it still managed to exceed my expectations.
Everything just felt really well looked after. The grounds were beautiful, the atmosphere was lovely & the facilities for children are some of the best I’ve seen.
Out of all 22 hotels we visited, this would genuinely be one of the first I’d choose for a holiday myself. As someone with a 6 yr old daughter, I spent most of the visit thinking she’d absolutely love it here!
If you’re looking for a hotel that offers something for every generation, I can completely understand why Papillon Ayscha has such a loyal following."
