"We had another great holiday at Gloria Verde Hotel in Belek between 10th and 21st of October 2025. This hotel is a part of 3 Gloria Hotels: Gloria Golf, Gloria Serenity and Gloria Verde. All three hotels can be used for golf holidays with shuttle busses and golf buggies depending on the distance. The Serenity Hotel has been recently refurbished and displays luxurious common spaces, spectacular restaurants and rest rooms. Gloria Serenity is a larger hotel that hosts parties, concerts and various shows. The facilities are available to the guest staying at Gloria Golf and Gloria Verde, except the restaurants.
We prefer smaller hotels and Gloria Verde is perfect for us. This was our 3rd visit to this hotel.
Accommodation: there is a choice between various type of rooms and suites. This time we had a suite. The rooms are spacious, with balcony and a small but sufficient bathroom. The most important point for us was the large bed with comfortable mattress and a pillow menu to choose from. The rooms are a bit dated but clean. We spent little time in the room so the “sea view” or any other similar amenities were less important for us. The noise insulation is not ideal but did not cause any major inconvenience. The shampoo run out one evening , we had to contact the reception twice for it (once in the morning but the bottle was not replaced and second time in the evening when we returned from the beach) and wait for one and a half hours for a new bottle to be installed into the bathroom.
These were little niggles but overall the accommodation is comfortable, clean and with all the necessary appliances like coffee machine, minibar fridge which is replenished daily, 2 TV sets in the suite, safe box and enough storage space in the wardrobes.
Restaurants: There are several options available: the main restaurant, 2 a la carte restaurants that are available for an extra fee ( the guest using jet2 holiday company -which we used for our previous visit- can use the a la carte restaurants once a week free of charge, British Airways holiday did not offer this) . There is also a Grill Bar where you can have fish, lamb, beef on grill or vegetarian food, fresh salads, pasta etc between 12:16:16:00. Another option is the Neptuno bar (located near the beach) where you can have burgers, sandwiches , salads etc . Many thanks to the Chef and the Sous Chefs for their hard work and great variety, taste and presentation of the food ( I am sorry cannot mention any names but they became familiar faces in the restaurants).
Our British Airways flight was delayed due to an engine problem on Gatwick and we arrived at the hotel at midnight. We were prepared to have something to eat in the room through room service but (as an improvement from our previous visit) we were invited to eat in the restaurant which was open for us due to the late arrival. The menu was simple but welcomed after a long journey. The main bar (Zodiac Bar) is open 24/7 so the drinks were not a problem.
The service at the bars is variable depending on who is on duty. Some of the bartenders are very good preparing excellent cocktails , others not as good and the cocktails can be watery (only ice in the glass rather than drinks) and tasteless. The cocktails prepared on the pier were usually better than the Neptuno Bar (although occasionally the staff from the pier bar came to the Neptuno bar as well). At times, in the evening at Neptuno Bar, we had to order another shot of spirits to add it to the prepared cocktails to improve the taste.
The service at the restaurant is very good especially in the evening. One of the waiters that stood out due to skills, manner, style and handling of English language was Veysel . One of the best waiters by any standard. Thank you very much for making our holiday so much more enjoyable.
We visited the spa a few times for hammam and massages. The service was good the treatments were also good but we felt that the traditional Turkish hammam and massage techniques have been lost, the experience has become a non specific spa treatment, where the peshtemal (traditional hammam towel) has been replaced by regular hotel towels and the massage technique are just generic and commercial.
The entertainment was Ok, there were a few parties at the Neptuno Bar and a few live music shows. Unfortunately the DJ played only club versions and was a bit monotonous. Occasionally we danced on the next door hotel music that played original versions. A special mention for Merve from the entertainment team who always tried to engage us in games, take us onto the dancing floor and keep us company in between activities.
The last but not the least a few comments about the grounds and the beach. The garden is very well maintained, the swimming pools area is clean, and the longer and towels available all day long. The swimming pools (adult and children) are heated in colder seasons. The beach is large and tidy , permanently cleaned, bins emptied and the unused towels removed. Loungers and towels are available at any time. The toilets are cleaned every 15 minutes , the security staff very vigilant.
Yasin, the General Manager is very visible and approachable. It was lovely to talk with him. Thank you and your staff for your efforts to make our holiday so wonderful. We hope to see you again soon.

I was surprised to see that after 15th of October all the evening entertainment was taken indoors or stopped altogether. We usually went to Antalya for October half term school holiday and the parties were in full swing. It seems at this hotel the winter comes sooner. The hotel is great for golfers though ."
