"We had the best honeymoon here. On arrival we had a speedy check in and made our way up to our decorated room with a complimentary bottle of bubbly.
with the package as well your get to use 2 al a carte restaurants which of the terrace was the best and the world food restaurant not so great but other meals may be nice (I had sweet and sour chicken and batter was literally like eating raw pancake batter).
The cocktails were actually pretty good, there was an amazing choice but I feel this put the staff on overdrive so in fact just to help out staff (some do like 12-16hr days everyday) to reduce the list of available cocktails. I read some reviews of them being waters down but they can be pretty strong.
The beach was lovely, small and never overcrowded. In fact a great spot for those who love snorkeling. If you like the beach but hate the sand there is also a pier where you can get into the sea from as well as sun loungers on the pier.
We stayed in a seaview room which was very spacious and had a large balcony. The TVs had YouTube and Netflix so we used our accounts and could still watch our favourite films and shows. Cleaners were in everyday and replenished fridge, changed bedding and towels.
Food wise during the day is great, breakfast is almost the same everyday and dinner in the buffet restaurant which we personally didn't mind, food can be hit and miss but at the end of the day they have to cook for more way more than 300 people.
However in our honeymoon package we had room service included which was huge (picture shown) with a massive selection, I'd say enough for 4.
The terrace restaurant offer an all a carte option for lunch which is what we used rather than the buffet. Options were amazing for the picky eaters, those who want something light and for those who want something a little more traditional.
Pools were really lovely too in fact a good temperature, they don't feel heated but amazing to cool off into.
Out the hotel there are many shops for those who like to get a few fakes. Personally we found it very expensive so I highly recommend using the hotel shop ( he displays the prices and lets you look around without hassle).
The only negative id say is rude visitors (which can't be helped wherever you go) and how pushed staff are but again I've seen this in many hotels. I guarantee you will see the same bar staff at open till close (1000 - 0000) which is an realistic work life balance. Again this could be cultural differences but just sad to see them visibly shattered and in pain from standing, making drinks and trying to listen to many languages.
Spa was amazing and we definitely needed it due to the work we do at home and disabilities etc. we booked a VIP treatment so as a couple you would start and finish your treatment together. Don't get me wrong it was absolutely amazing as this isn't something we normally do but it was £220 for the both of us (we paid in Turkish lira so it was a bit cheaper than that), which I did find expensive. But what the hell it was our honeymoon.
The only bad point with the hotel itself is how slow the lifts are. It's just annoying, but what's the rush when on holiday.
Advice 1: don't book trips via holiday provider as it's ridiculously expensive, use 'getyourguide', it's cheaper and there's way more options and opportunities to see more of the real beauty of turkey and not just the touristy places.
Advice 2: this isn't a huge resort in fact lovely and small so if you want more for kids and more space id recommend somewhere a little larger more orientated around kids.
Advice 3: I would never recommend using your own currency, always use Turkish lira as you get the better deal and not the person you are paying. Pretty much everywhere takes card too
Overall: this hotel was absolutely amazing and can't fault it other than the lifts. Neither of us got ill from food (all safe to eat) and had the best sleep of our lives the beds were that comfy.
But want to give massive credit to all the staff, from reception, restaurants, chefs, bar, cleaners, entertainment and every other member of staff I haven't mentioned."
