White City Beach Hotel

"Absolutely cannot fault this hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean, food was amazing with good variety, and staff so friendly, especially the animation team, Kaan and Yulia, who went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Would definitely recommend them and this hotel."

"I wouldn't return to this hotel if it was free! Myself and partner arrived late in the evening and were met outside by a young man who brought our cases to reception, took copies of our passport then took us to our room. There was no power, so maintenance was called, the problem was quickly rectified. The hotel was clean and the cleaner was very friendly and helpful. The next day during mealtimes we were constantly hearing from other guests saying they had been ill, we never thought much of it until on the 2nd day my partner became poorly with sickness and diarrhoea, I followed on the 3rd day, I have never been so ill in my life, couldn't even keep water down. I was in the room for much of the 7 day holiday. With time on my hands I looked at reviews and this seems to be an ongoing issue since May! The gent on reception became annoyed when I questioned this, saying "everyone gets diarrhoea" this wasn't just diarrhoea, this was nasty and the majority of guests were poorly with it within days. This points to a hygiene problem with the food/kitchen, though the response will say they are following strict hygiene regulations...blah blah blah Also the noise above our room (103) was ridiculous and none stop, I'm sure there were no guests in this room as it seemed like heavy metal equipment being wheeled back and forth across the floor and it was relentless, this coupled with the noise(music that felt like it was playing in our room until 2, sometimes 3 am) from the hotel next door, meant not much relaxation or sleep was going on for the duration of the holiday. The balcony overlooked some stale food and discarded clothing on the floor which was there for the whole holiday. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, it's the first and last time to Turkey for us."
