H10 Gran Tinerfe

"The H10 Gran Tinerfe is located right next to the beach. Literally step out of the hotel at the rear and you are on the beach. It is an adults only hotel that attracts couples and groups across Europe. We join in the excellent entertainment during the day such as boules, archery, shooting, pool etc. and this is where you have the opportunity to mix with everyone that attends, This appeals to us and over the years we have made many friendships from people from Holland, Belgium, Germany and even Iceland on this occasion. We generally go to this hotel in May, but decided to go in September too this year. We have found, like us, that once you attend once you will return again. Many people we speak to come back twice a year. So, what’s so special about this hotel? For us, it’s a combination of many things. One is the food. The main restaurant is buffet style and the choice of food is second to none and of excellent quality. We always stay half board as this suits us. You can also stay all inclusive and if you really want to pamper yourself, go Privilege class. We find the staff at the hotel very polite and pleasant and always remember you on your return trips. There is a choice of accommodation; we like a room with a sea view and pay extra for this. There are cheaper and more expensive rooms as per your choice and bank account. We have never been disappointed and is another reason we return year on year. The hotel is spotlessly clean and you see workers cleaning all of the time. The hotel is one of the older in the group I believe and is around 25 years old. In some areas, there are signs of wear and tear, but also you can see an ongoing programme of refurbishment. When we were there this time, inter floor staircases on the upper level of the hotel were being re carpeted. I also noticed the ground floor communal toilets had been refurbished.Additionally, rooms are being refurbished year on year usually floor by floor.None of this though disturbs your holiday. The evening entertainment is also good with something different each night. For those of us that like peace and quiet, all noise stops promptly at 10:30 pm. We find this hotel value for money, some might say more expensive than some, but in the words of the old saying, you get what you pay for. We look forward to going against to this lovely hotel again next May."

"Brilliant hotel and excellent location Had the best time would definitely recommend and return"

"Built in 1972 cant see strong signs of refurbishment. We paid for a junior sweet Room 1010 we experinced a leaking ceiling broken wash basin.. Moved to 810 another lealing ceiling. Broken toilet,broken wardrobe . Ruin last 4 days of our 10 day holiday. Entertainment average to poor at lot of it couldnt see as poor lay out. Sunbed reseving is actually encouraged as i removed someones towels . They got back 2pm and got a reward for having their towles removed. Eating area very warm inadequate air condition. Entainment manger doesnt like the English rudely said we should all learn Spanish. This is a 3 star establishment. They even have a printed list tick box re whats wrong with room Jet2 hopeless."
