"Just come back from a week here booked with jet2. If you have a holiday booked here this summer you’ll be fine here but it by no means the best I’ve seen, all in all it’s very average in all departments.
Rooms.
The room itself was fine a bit small and not much wardrobe space, in stead of tables as bed side cabinets units with a few draws in would help a bit. Other than that the room was fresh and clean with a partial sea view from the balcony. We stayed in room 314. The bathroom on the other hand is the worst I’ve ever seen and by no means 4star.
The bathrooms are tiny, the toilet is only about 3 inches from the side wall making uncomfortable to use normally. The shower is the most basic 70cmx70cm shower tray, the shower head doesn’t tilt down so you have to remember to turn the shower head to the wall before turning on the shower or the water will end up on the bathroom floor. Our room had beige aqua panels on the walls no “4 star” luxury what so ever.
Public areas
Round the pool is fine although there wasps around the bar area, and on occasion during our stay around the sun beds. People do claim sun beds early but you see that at every hotel and no difference here. We always got beds still at 10am but we went during uk school time. Might be different during peak times.
Inside the hotel
When you go through the automated doors back in to reception it does smell of drains or sewers as others have mentioned. Which they try to mask with air fresheners or disinfectant.
The hotel is tiny inside there’s not much to it. There’s a bar inside that’s only used in the evening. Since it’s so close to the main pool bar it seems pointless using it. All the entertainment is outside anyway here.
All inclusive drinks.
They are one of the better things here. Reasonable cocktails, san Miguel beer, they had Smirnoff vodka and Bacardi and the rest are all unknown brands but contrary to other reviews they are normal alcoholic strength and no way watered down. The best thing is the frozen cocktails (slushies) which come for adults or kids, the edible straws are a real nice addition much better than paper straws.
My only complaint here is I’ve never had so much trouble ordering drinks at a bar than here, it could be really difficult at times communicating what you wanted to them.
Food.
The breakfast is as you’d expect for all inclusive from fry up to the continental meats and pastries etc
We didn’t try the lunch selection so can’t Judge that.
From 1530 they served to order snacks of toasties burgers chips and pizza. This was fine not gonna blow your socks off but perfectly edible.
The evening service.
This holiday makes it 11 times staying 4 star all inclusive in the last 10 years. This is definitely one of the worst evening meal times I’ve seen. Small selection, very few counters, there’s 2 show cooking counters but they mostly only seem to use one. Most of the dishes are the same night after night, excluding the dessert section I bet only about 8-10 things actually change a night.
You won’t starve you can always find something to eat but it’s nowhere near as good as it should be. This kind of dining was fine 10 years ago when a holiday like this was say £550 each but at the massive prices we pay now it’s just not worth the money for school dinners.
Usually you can’t go wrong with chicken but the grilled chicken breast they did one night and the chicken fajitas they did on Mexican night was as tough as an old boot. I mussed to my wife they should put some in the gym incase anyone was looking to do a jaw workout.
Location
If you walk down that little track opposite the hotel it comes out to a beautiful little bay where you can swim.
About a 15 to 20 minute walk to punta prime. Nice beach and a single short run of shops and restaurants. But not much to see.

Final thoughts
Always stings getting slapped with a 70 euro “tourism tax” as soon as you arrive, plus 20 euros for the safe I was 90 euros down before I unpacked my suit case
Jet2 and the hoteliers need to up there game with these places. We first started going abroad again in 2016 and since then these places have stayed static. There not offering anything new, its same old entertainment and songs you've seen and heard year in year out , the same drab and bland ai food, the same wrist band on legs experience. Smaller more bespoke hotels offering better food and a more human experience like package holidays used to be would be much better."
