"We spent a week at the hotel at the end of July 2026, during the school summer holidays, so this was understandably a particularly busy time. We were a family of four, with children aged 7 and 5, and overall we had a fantastic holiday and felt the hotel offered very good value for money.
Location
The location is excellent if you like having things to do nearby. The hotel is within easy walking distance of a lively marina area with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, as well as a lovely sandy beach, which was around a 10-minute walk away. At the same time, the resort itself isn't particularly large and felt relatively quiet and relaxed rather than being completely overrun with tourists.
The main downside to the location is the transfer from the airport. The hotel is at the opposite end of the island, so the journey can be quite long. We booked a private minivan transfer and it still took around an hour, so this is something worth bearing in mind when booking.
Our apartment
We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment, which was a good size, clean and comfortable, with a reasonably sized balcony. Both the beds were comfortable, including the sofa bed in the living area, which was actually much more comfortable than it looked!
The air conditioning was probably the weakest point of the room. The bedroom stayed lovely and cool, but because the living area was open plan and contained the other bed, it didn't benefit much from the air conditioning. As a result, it was very hot and sticky for whoever was sleeping there, particularly overnight.
The bathroom was excellent, though, with two separate showers as well as a bath, plenty of space and good water pressure.
All inclusive
We thought the all-inclusive offering was very good. There are two tiers, with a higher level available to guests who book directly with the hotel. We were on the lower tier but were still very happy with what was included. There was a good selection of drinks, including cocktails, wine, beer and spirits, and we never felt restricted in terms of what we could have.
The children particularly loved the ice creams, which were available on a help-yourself basis from freezers dotted around the hotel. They were always well stocked, so this was a big hit!
Food
The buffet restaurant was one of the highlights for us. There were some short queues at the busiest times, but the quality of the food was excellent and there was a really good variety. There were themed nights almost every evening, including Mexican, Chinese, seafood, Indian, local specialities and Italian, so there was plenty of choice and enough variety to keep things interesting throughout the week.
I particularly enjoyed the different paellas, which changed to fit in with the theme of the evening.
There is a separate children's section in the buffet, although the choice there was quite limited. This wasn't a major issue for us as the children were able to choose from the rest of the buffet and always managed to find something they were happy with.
Breakfasts were especially good, with a huge selection of things to choose from.
There are a few areas where I think the food offering could be improved. The pancakes at breakfast were extremely popular and the kitchen staff struggled to keep up with demand. On some mornings, a dedicated pancake queue developed which could be 10–15 minutes long. Having someone specifically making pancakes during the busiest periods would probably solve this.
We also found the availability of drinks at mealtimes a little strange. The selection changed depending on which meal was being served. For example, I sometimes wanted a coffee with lunch, but the coffee machines were only switched on at breakfast. It seemed like an unnecessary restriction when there was no obvious reason why at least one machine couldn't simply remain available. On one day, both soft drinks machines broke, which meant there wasn't much choice for the children at lunch and dinner that day.
The alternative food available at the pool bar was another slight disappointment. The selection was very limited and, realistically, unless you wanted a pre-warmed toastie and some chips, the buffet restaurant was the only worthwhile option. I think the hotel could make much better use of this facility.
Pools
The pools were excellent and were a real highlight for our children. There are four pools, although the two children's pools are effectively connected as one area.
We liked that there were different areas offering different experiences, and we tried to base ourselves in different areas on different days. At the top were the splash zone and slides, which the children absolutely loved. In the middle was the smallest and deepest pool, which was noticeably quieter and great for things like ball games, diving and floating around on rubber rings. At the bottom was the main pool, which was busier and had the daytime activities, music and general atmosphere.
The only downside was a slight shortage of sun loungers, with people reserving them early in the morning despite the hotel's supposed policy against this. It would be good to see the hotel actually enforce its own policy. Unfortunately, as we couldn't beat them, we had to join them, and found that going down around 8:00–8:30am allowed us to secure some decent loungers in the area we wanted for the day.
Entertainment
The entertainment was very good overall and the children really enjoyed it. The evening kids' discos and shows were particularly popular.
The main thing we felt was missing was a proper kids' club where children could be left for a short period while parents had some time to themselves. We've experienced this at other similar hotels and even a couple of hours a day would make a big difference. There was nevertheless a good range of daytime activities, and the children enjoyed taking part in several of them, although a parent needed to stay with them.
Staff
The staff were lovely throughout our stay. They were friendly, helpful and pleasant, and we had no complaints about the service.
Overall
Overall, we had a fantastic week and would definitely consider staying here again. The combination of the excellent location, good-quality food, great pools, enjoyable entertainment and friendly staff made it a very enjoyable family holiday. There are a few relatively minor things that could be improved, particularly the air conditioning in the apartment, sun-lounger situation, pool bar food and some of the mealtime arrangements, but none of these detracted significantly from our overall experience.
Our other minor gripe was having to pay extra to use the safe in the room. For a hotel of this type, we felt this should really be included in the overall price.
Despite those points, we felt the hotel offered very good value for money and would happily recommend it for families looking for a relaxed, enjoyable all-inclusive holiday."
