Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel

"We are flying home tomorrow and can honestly say nothing but good things about this hotel. The staff are superb and have made us feel very special. Everything was spotless especially our room. Considering the hotel closes tomorrow for 6 months it feels as if it has just opened. The food is exceptional especially breakfast. The pools are immaculate and the adult only roof top area is very special. As a very fussy person I have absolutely no complaints and will definitely be returning. Thank you for a fantastic break and our bottle of Prosecco left in our room for our anniversary. We will see you all soon."

"Second visit to this hotel. The first visit last year was super, it seemed even better this year. The hotel is in a great location, two minutes from the beach. Our room was big with doors to shut off the bedroom. Our cleaner was great, and the hotel was spotless throughout our stay. The restaurant food is excellent. Lots of choice, always something different every day and far exceeds the normal buffet offerings. All the staff are great and do their very best to ensure you have the best possible experience. They also all work incredibly hard. While we were there, a number of disabled people were there. It was so heart-warming to see the how much the staff went out of their way to help them, particularly in the restaurant. Helping them to get their food and ensure they had the best possible experience. It's hard to single any staff member out for particular praise as all were so kind to those less fortunate than us. However, I saw Chon, one of the waitresses, on a few occasion give such a lovely greeting to those guests; just a gentle rub on the forehead. It really was so genuine and uplifting to see. Some of the evening entertainment was unexpectedly good. The comedian from New York 'George' was someone you'd have paid good money to see. And some of the tribute act were very good too. No hotel is perfect. I agree the pool is on the cool side; lovely after a long walk though. And I'm sure there's other things you could fault. For us however it was simply fabulous. If I was the manager or owner of this hotel I would be well-pleased with the guest experience. Thanks everyone for a super stay. We will see you next year; same time. TIPS: There's a washing machine on site - however, please note, despite the signage you DO NOT need to add detergent as this auto-doses detergent and conditioner. The dryer is there too, but we found this did not work well despite two cycles. There is a great German bike shop opposite the hotel entrance. George and John"

"Palmeras has done it again our 3rd visit and will be back again next year . Food excellent ,room excellent but without question the staff are the best they make this hotel from Miguel and his staff in the restaurant to Deniz , Brazil and Speedy Gonzalez the fastest waiter in the west in the bar .Thank you all for making it special for us ."
