"Good location and great value for money Would stay again"

"Currently at the hotel. We are EXTREMELY disappointed. What made us choose the Tent is - The brunch from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM which is sold to you as very hearty. Very good and very varied. Is in fact very disappointing and the quality of the food needs to be reviewed. No new items or changes during the stay. Do not count on what appears to be pastries, they must surely be frozen. If you have allergies or do not eat pork, do not hesitate to ask for the exact ingredients of the dishes (for example, there is pork in the chicken croquettes) As for the fruit juices (orange), it is not juice, it is Tang. So as a French person, drinking soda first thing in the morning is simply unthinkable!! The choice of fruit is also very limited. (Orange, watermelon, melon) Regarding the hot chocolate, you have two options, either from the machine; it is watered down. Or milk with a packet of chocolate powder. It is disgusting, nothing like Nesquik, Banania, or Poulain. -Regarding hygiene, an unidentified drip has been on our toilet since we arrived three days ago and it has never been cleaned. Housekeeping is limited to: trash cans and towels replaced. And was sloppy upon our arrival. Next, - 2 elevators but one was broken for several days, which was very restrictive, because we are on the 5th floor and when there are a lot of people (even though we are at the end of September) waiting in line for the elevator is unpleasant and climbing five floors via the stairs is just as much so. (four people max in the elevator) -We were not able to use the TV for several days, because we were trying to activate the Chromecast so as not to have to watch Spanish or German programs and stay on our usual videos and programs. But it was not possible…. surely the previous vacationers decided to leave with the Chromecast. The problem was reported to the reception and a technician came by, but given the hotel's Wi-Fi speed, I simply think that it will never work. -The Wi-Fi. Let's talk about it. I hope you are not counting on it because it is almost non-existent. - the atmosphere: the hotel is located in the German quarter, they are…. How to put it, very focused on drinking from the morning until the evening, so this leads to a huge amount of noise disturbance. -The soundproofing of the rooms also needs to be reviewed, I hope you will not end up with noisy neighbors. However, the hotel is well located: not far from the beach, restaurants, bars, grocery stores and everything you need. Lidl and Aldi as well. The bus to the airport is also right below the hotel. In some rooms there is a small refrigerator to keep drinks cool (as well as my Lidl groceries that save me from the buffet) The staff is also very pleasant and caring, thank you for that. We would not say no to a small commercial gesture before our departure, on Saturday, October 6, in view of our disappointment, despite all the positive expectations we had when booking this hotel, especially after reading the many glowing comments from English and German customers. Unfortunately, we have the feeling that, for the French clientele, the hotel could do better and offer an experience more in line with its promises and our expectations."
