"If you like to get any sleep don’t bother staying here. Stoped at a few Melia hotels with a great experience but this falls well below par. Firstly the good bits, Never struggled to get a sun Lounger Breakfast was great Kettle in your room. Bad bits. Check it, I checked in at 1am behind a group of lads, there were 2 staff on reception but god knows the level of details they have to key in as took 45 mins just ti check them in.. never know anything like it. Room, in need of TLC, on par with some budget 2 star. Sleep, forget it, you won’t get any, idiots running up and down the corridors shouting and chatting from 3am to 6am, I’m Guessing they don’t stay down in reception because the security guard moves them along but why not have the same thoughts for the corridors where people are trying to sleep, even more stupid let’s put sofa’s down the corridors so they can sit, shout and sing outside your room. Would I stay again, no way, not even if it was free"

"This is my whole hearted honest review, i’m going to discuss everything as me and my friend left quite disappointed from this hotel as we weren’t informed about a lot before purchasing. We stayed on floor 3 and i think 4 stars for this hotel is very very generous. Me and my friend are both 19 years old therefore we thought coming here would be a younger, partier hotel however we were so wrong! Many of the reviews state it’s a party hotel however we experienced far from it. There was no entertainment at all during the day or at night, i know it isn’t classed as peak season but we went at the start of june. There was no dj on round the pool as we thought and the stage next to the pool was left unused, the only music playing was from a speaker by the pool and it was all 1960’s-1970s songs which were not upbeat. The only “party” part about the hotel was people coming back late and the event reps swarming you outside. The location of the hotel is good as you are right next to multiple supermarkets, shops, the beach, restaurants, fast food chains and the strip. As for the pool and sunbeds as mentioned there was poor music playing and we had to get up at 8:30am to get a decent bed as by 9:30 they were all gone despite the pool opening at 10am, the pool is small however there is the rooftop area to make up for that. Once again although i know its not peak season none of the “pool bar” areas were open therefore if you wanted to get a drink you had to go inside and if you wanted an ice lolly you had to go to the closest shop which was just inconvenient. We had bed and breakfast which was very mediocre me and my friend ended up just eating toast and fruit as much of the food was stale, greasy, under or over cooked etc. The room was unclean, cleaners came everyday but only changed the sheet, some days didn’t even change the bin or towels, my friend dropped makeup powder on the floor and it was left for days before they cleaned it, big piles of dust behind the bed and more. No thicker sheets so your left cold at night, rooms are very very small with only about a metre of space between the bed and wall, therefore was a squash for 2 people. Walls are extremely thin, could hear the people next door doing everything as well as all the noise from the hallway. We found some of the reception staff to be quite rude, arguing with eachother, and getting quite heated. We didn’t have any experience with stealing luckily but i just think the whole hotel experience made the holiday poorer, we would look out to the hotel next door which had loud music, great atmosphere, water polo and then ours which was dead, no atmosphere, no entertainment, no good music. I understand it’s adults only but when it has such a reputation of a party place and being part of “vibes” holidays we expected way more."

"This is an honest review, I stayed at sol house on dates 1st June to 5th of June just for a few days break with my partner, I stayed in room 439 Aircon broken, came on the first night for around one hour and never again, Beds (2 singles) was the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept in, Asked on the day of arrival if could pay for a later check out, to be told to come back and arrange on check out day, when I did, i was told no availability which left us stranded until late that evening when transfers collected us, Food, we had bed and breakfast, the first day I couldn’t get off the toilet, gave it the benefit of the doubt and the second day, had breakfast again, and was poorly all that day, I then went elsewhere for food the following day and I was completely fine, I’m guessing because food isn’t covered and not following food safety guidelines, Overall wasn’t at all happy with my stay and will not be returning, But if you’re looking for a cheap holiday then I guess it’s for you, beach is also a 2 minute walk which is the only bonus, rooms was also clean just small and not comfortable."
