"I wanted to book a last minute break and I seen this hotel in Majorca. I work in travel, so I know this hotel well.
I did see it was only 3.5/5 on Tripadvisor, but I usually take reviews with a pinch of salt. What’s good for me might not be good for someone else. But this hotel had great recent reviews so we booked it. I’m pleased we booked it, it was absolutely amazing from start to finish.
The staff were super friendly. The hotel was clean, including the rooms and public toilets - the cleaning staff were always in the toilets by the pools cleaning them! Hats off to them!
From the lifeguards to the reception staff, everyone was friendly and helpful.
The rooms: brilliant!! No tea/coffee facilities but that didn’t bother us. You have towels, shampoo/conditioner and shower gel.
Clean bedding, TV, and a very spacious room. You also have a fridge, and a large balcony.
The food: there are two snack vans for pizza/hot dogs/burgers. There’s also the main restaurant.
There’s a variety of foods such as salads, meats, breads and kids food- like battered fish bites or chicken nuggets, chips, pasta and beans.
They offer a full English brekkie on a morning, and also continental breakfast too.
Drinks: branded soft drinks!!! This is a big thing for my family being Coca Cola and Fanta lovers. Alcohol is local spirits unless you want to pay for branded but it tastes fine. My husband enjoyed the beers.
Waterpark: oh my goodness!! My 6yr old thoroughly enjoyed the waterpark. From the splash park to the bigger slides, he was over 120cm so he was able to use the big slides. There are 4x pools too and plenty to do in the day.
Sunbeds: it was busy when we went as it was half term, unfortunately we did find families putting down their towels at 7am, and there was only one day we didn’t get a sunbed together so we spent the day at the beach. But annoyingly some adults didn’t get to their beds until after lunch time, yet they put the towels down in the morning. Very frustrating!!!
Location: I’d say this location is perfect! Close to the beach, and shops/bars. We walked to the beach at palma nova as we could hire sunbeds/parasols there. Magaluf beach doesn’t have sunbeds/parasols. We LOVED the people of Magaluf, it’s very family friendly!!
Entertainment: it’s what you would expect at any hotel, it’s cheesy entertainment and great for the kids. My boy loved the footy court which is next to reception.
Cons: the clientele! Some people just don’t have respect, so they’re banging their room doors on a night and kids screaming at top of their lungs in the corridor early hours of the morning. Can’t do anything about that unfortunately, but I just think some people have lack of respect these days.
Someone did do a poo in the pool one day, so the lifeguards made sure everyone got out quickly and they had to close the full pool to clean it. The thing is, everyone in the pool at time was old enough to know better! That was disgustingly but it was handled well by the lifeguards and it isn’t the hotels fault.
There were also people pushing in front of one another in the restaurant at times too. Again, it’s just lack of respect really.
I’d definitely return to this hotel, it’s a brilliant place and we had a fantastic holiday!"
