Caybeach Papagayos

"We stayed in Caybeach Papagayo from 6/10/26 for a week in a spacious two-bedroom apartment. The air conditioning was included in the bedrooms and the bed was comfortable. The shower was good too. However, the kitchen only had a soup ladle spoon for cooking and when I asked reception for an egg lifter to cook with they were unhelpful. The fridge door was broken so we couldn’t store drinks or milk inside. The pool was lovely and always had a lifeguard he was an absolute gentleman. There was no bar snack area no amenities no vending machines. There were public toilets at the pool but the ladies’ door didn’t lock. There’s a supermarket across the road and a stoney beach nearby with a path leading to Playa Blanca. It’s a very quiet spot and we always went to Playa Blanca for food."

"This was our 3rd stay which tells you that we like it here. Its in a quiet location, 5 min to Hyperdino, 30 mins walk to the Marina however buses stop outside the apartment regularly and are very reasonable. Apartments are large and clean however slightly outdated for example pictures on walls, sofa and furniture in living room however didnt put us off. Lovely pool area and never an issue getting loungers. Negatives, we were woken before 8:30 am by housekeeping knocking on the door, every time they were due to clean or change towels. We didnt want to be up at that time on our holiday however they didnt come back later! We then had to go to reception to request clean towels and forego the room clean. Also, there is no pool bar therefore unable to get a drink or snack by the pool. That didnt bother us and you can take your own drinks there. Would recommend for a peaceful location and if you dont mind walking."

"We had a wonderful 10 day holiday staying at the Caybeach Papagayos (10th - 20th Sept). We had asked for the same room as the year before and although they could not give us that room they did put us in room 2051 that was 2 doors away. The room was spotless, had excellent air conditioning (free) that we definitely needed in the extreme heat. Big wide comfy beds, plenty of wardrobe space and a large bathroom with shower over the bath. The kitchen had all the utensils needed, a coffee machine, microwave, toaster and kettle. One note, it needed 4 large mugs for drinks, we found the cups very small so bought a couple at the supermarket. The swimming pool is fantastic with loads of sunbeds and umbrellas. The attendant was a great guy who always spoke and waved and was ready with extra umbrellas if required. The reception staff were all very helpful, at check in it was as if he remembered us from the previous year and noted our request for the room. To the young man who found us a room for late checkout on our last day. The hotel is in the Los Colarados area of Playa Blanca and it is very quiet, which we love. There are no food or drinks available but there is a small shopping centre with a supermarket, cafes and restaurants only 400 metres away. This was our 2nd stay at Caybeach Papagayos and we are already looking to stay there again in 2027!! Thank you to everyone for making our holiday so memorable."
