"Unfortunately, overall, we were really disappointed with our stay and wouldn’t choose to return to this hotel. One of the biggest issues was the lift, which seemed to be out of order around 80% of the time. This was particularly frustrating when trying to get down to the pool with the children. The air conditioning was another major problem. It didn’t work at all, making the rooms extremely uncomfortable, particularly at night. As a result, we barely got any sleep throughout our stay. When you’re on a family holiday, being able to get a decent night’s sleep should be the bare minimum, and this seriously affected our experience. The food hygiene was also concerning. I was served undercooked chicken and had to send it back after already eating three chicken tenders. This is simply not acceptable and really put me off the food. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was another major disappointment. We had to send glasses back at the bar because, despite apparently having been washed and put back out for use, they still had lipstick stains on them. Even worse, underneath our bed was clearly not being cleaned properly. Our children dropped a crisp under the bed on the first day, and when we left seven days later, it was still there with ants crawling all over it. This really says a lot about the standard of housekeeping. On our last day, the hotel also appeared to be in a terrible state, with towels covering areas throughout the building and water coming through holes in the roof, causing flooding. It certainly wasn’t the standard you would expect from a hotel. We also had an unpleasant experience with the bartender at the reception bar one evening. I asked for two whiskey and cokes, and when he appeared confused, I simply repeated my order. He then threw his hands up in the air and responded aggressively, saying, “Yes, I understand.” There was absolutely no need for that attitude towards a paying guest. Finally, the hotel itself feels very outdated, and there is very little for children to do unless you are willing to pay extra for the arcade or spend most of your holiday around the pool. For a family holiday, we expected much more. Overall, this hotel fell well below our expectations. Between the air conditioning not working, lack of sleep, cleanliness issues, food concerns, maintenance problems and poor customer service, there were simply too many negatives to overlook. We wanted a relaxing family holiday, but unfortunately, this hotel didn’t deliver. The basic standards of comfort, cleanliness and maintenance were not met, and we left feeling very disappointed. I would rate our experience 2 out of 5 stars. Based on our stay, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to others looking for a good-quality family holiday. There is plenty of room for improvement, particularly when it comes to hygiene, maintenance, air conditioning, customer service and facilities for children."

"We are now waiting to sadly go home. We did read reviews about the hotel being dated and is having a renavation soon, so we came with a open mind. Yes the hotel is worn, yes there is mosquito's, but the grounds are lovely, the staff are lovely, the food is very good with lots of choice. I would even come back here without it being renovated. Thank you to everyone at the club princess"
