"Good hotel to stay at while you visit Fuerteventura. The rooms are bright, comfortable, and you sleep very well. It is so large that you can do many things, from just walking and resting to having a drink at the bars it has. It is for families, couples, or for people like me who travel alone and are looking to rest and get to know the island. I liked it, I will return."

"Our experience at this hotel has been, in general terms, quite disappointing. The setting and the location are magnificent, but we consider that the service, the organization, and the maintenance are far below what one would expect from a four-star hotel. One of the main problems we have noticed is the evident lack of staff in practically all areas. The housekeeping service is a clear example. On several occasions, it was not done until after 3:00 PM or even 4:00 PM, and when the room was finally accessed, the cleaning was very superficial: the bed was made, but it was not vacuumed, no proper cleaning was done, and the bathroom trash can was not emptied either. The used tissues from the bathroom set were not replaced, and if the bathroom glasses were removed, they were not replaced either. They are small details, but it is precisely these types of details that make the difference in a hotel of this category. The situation at the front desk is not much better either. Upon our arrival, around 9:00 PM, after a five-hour flight and more than an hour on the road and without having had dinner, there was only one receptionist handling both check-ins and any other guest inquiries. As a result, one had to wait in line to be served. It does not seem like an adequate organization for an establishment with the capacity of this hotel. The pool area deserves a separate mention. The areas designated for lounge chairs are quite small, and the two pools available to most guests are relatively small considering the size and capacity of the hotel. One of them, furthermore, is intended for children. What is especially difficult to understand is that there is a third pool, practically empty during our stay, intended exclusively for Privilege guests. I understand that certain categories may include additional services, better rooms, or specific benefits. However, establishing areas for exclusive use when the facilities available to the rest of the guests are already limited inevitably creates a feeling of differentiation between customers that, personally, I consider inappropriate. The lack of staff becomes evident again at the pool and the cafeteria. To order a drink, one had to wait in line because, once again, a single person was serving all the guests who were not Privilege customers. As for the room, ours had a side view of the sea, but it also faced a parking lot and, above all, an area used by hotel staff during their breaks. From there, one could hear conversations, shouting among employees, and other disturbances practically all day and well into the night. Furthermore, the dumpsters are located in that same area, so from the early hours of the morning, you can hear the garbage trucks and, especially, the enormous noise produced by the glass collection. The soundproofing of the rooms is clearly in need of improvement. Conversations from the adjacent rooms and the flushing of the toilets in the rooms above could be heard easily. All of this directly affects the quality of rest. Added to these problems is the maintenance of the rooms. During our stay, we found outlets and USB ports that did not work. These are relatively simple issues to check and fix, so it is surprising to find them in a hotel of this category. I also consider that it would be advisable to rethink the concept of the American-themed restaurant Ruta 66. Being in the Canary Islands, I think it would make much more sense to have a Spanish, or better yet, a Canarian gastronomic proposal that would add something more to the overall experience. Furthermore, it is difficult to understand why, for guests staying more than six nights on an all-inclusive plan, a dinner at this restaurant is offered as a special benefit when, at least in our experience, the food did not seem particularly remarkable to us; in fact, we found it even inferior to that of the buffet. In short, the hotel has an extraordinary location, surrounded by clean beaches and a natural, wild environment that is, without a doubt, its greatest attraction. Precisely for this reason, it is even more disappointing to find that aspects related to service, organization, maintenance, and facility management are not up to the same standard. The location is exceptional, but the location alone cannot compensate for the shortcomings in service and the guest experience. My recommendation to the management team would be to seriously review these aspects, especially staffing, cleanliness, maintenance, soundproofing, and the management of common areas. The hotel has enormous potential, but it needs to significantly improve these points so that the experience is truly up to the standard of a four-star establishment."
