"A Fantastic Family Holiday – Would Definitely Return! ☀️🌴
After having a really bad experience on a holiday two years ago, where we actually had to leave our hotel and come home early, I was extremely anxious about going abroad again. I was worried about whether we'd enjoy ourselves and whether everything would go smoothly. However, I can honestly say this hotel completely changed how I feel about holidays again!
Arrival and Rooms
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with lovely cold drinks, which was such a nice touch. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, showing us how to get to our room.
Our room was absolutely spotless. I honestly couldn't fault it. It was clean, well looked after and had a beautiful garden view overlooking the swimming pool.
Staff and Housekeeping
I genuinely cannot fault the staff at this hotel. They were lovely throughout our stay.
The only slight issue we had was with one member of the cleaning staff. On one occasion, I asked if my son's bed could be changed, and was initially told that beds were only changed every three days. However, after speaking to reception, this was sorted out.
Apart from that one incident, we had absolutely no problems and everyone else was wonderful.
Swimming Pools
The pools were lovely and clean, and we really enjoyed spending time around them.
One little tip for parents: if you have children who love running around, I'd definitely recommend pool shoes. The flooring can be extremely slippery when wet. I saw several children, as well as adults, slip and fall during our stay, so it's definitely something worth considering.
Food and Drinks
I was particularly worried about the food because I have three very fussy eaters in my family – my husband and our two children!
However, I needn't have worried. Every evening there was always something for everyone. What made me particularly happy was that my children even tried foods they'd never eaten before.
The restaurant staff were also lovely. They didn't make a fuss if the children tried something and didn't finish it, which made me feel much more relaxed as a parent.
The drinks available on site were also good, and we had no complaints.
Location and Nearby Shops
The reception area is beautiful, clean and welcoming.
There is a shop on site, although we did find it a little expensive. My tip would be to leave the front of the hotel, turn right and walk along the road. You'll find a supermarket, a SPAR and other little shops nearby.
The beach is also lovely and worth visiting.
A Little Hidden Gem for Animal Lovers! 🐔
If you leave through the back of the hotel and head slightly to the left, you'll come across a derelict-looking building where there are chipmunks
They will actually eat from your hands! You can pick up some nuts from the supermarket, or take suitable fruit and vegetables. This was a lovely little experience, especially for the children.
There are also a few cats around the hotel grounds. Some appeared to have medical needs, which was a little upsetting for me and my little girl, who absolutely loves animals. We ended up buying some cat food and feeding them. They were very friendly, and it was lovely to see them being cared for.
Town and Market
We walked into town on the day the market was on, and we had a lovely time. We really couldn't fault the experience.
You may find some sellers a little pushy, but a polite "no, thank you" is all that's needed.
Zoo Visit – A Little Disappointing
One thing I would mention is our visit to the zoo.
We visited around 12 years ago and remembered being able to hold the lemurs, so we were really looking forward to doing this again.
Unfortunately, things have changed. We paid €15 per adult and €10 per child, but rather than getting the experience we remembered, we were essentially given a talk about the lemurs.
Having visited other zoos abroad, where we've had more hands-on experiences, we did find this a little disappointing.
Getting Around
Our private airport transfer took approximately 6–8 minutes, which was fantastic.
If you're using a shared coach transfer , it may take a little longer, depending on stops and traffic.
The zoo is approximately a 45-minute bus journey away. The coach leaves from outside the hotel area at around 9:30 am.
There is also an on-site photographer who offers holiday photographs. We did find these a little pricey, but if you're looking to capture some special holiday memories, it's a nice option.
I also want to mention how patient and lovely the photographer was with my two autistic children. That really meant a lot to us as a family.

I honestly cannot fault this hotel.
After what happened on our previous holiday, I arrived feeling anxious and unsure whether I would enjoy going abroad again. I left feeling completely different.
The friendly staff, spotless room, lovely pools, good food and welcoming atmosphere all helped make this a fantastic family holiday.
There were a few little things that could be improved, but nothing that would put me off returning.
We made some lovely memories, the children had a brilliant time, and most importantly, we all felt comfortable and relaxed.
