Hotel Rural Almazara

"Great rural hotel right near Frigilliana and Nerja. The breakfast was simple, but contained everything one usually wants. Rent room, and clean common areas."

"The hotel is sited on the side of the main road between Nerja and Frigiliana, so noisy. The safe in the room was not working. Asked for some ice to take to the room and told it’s against hotel policy. The pool sun beds are tired and need updating !! Oh and for an hour to use the hot tub it’s €29.99 each. How this place gets a 3 star rating is beyond me."

"The hotel surprised us with several things and all of them good, to start, the location is very good, between Nerja and Frigiliana, 2/3 km from each town, but with the tranquility of not being in the middle of the tourist hub, which I at least appreciate, the hotel is super quiet, with a spectacular terrace to have breakfast while seeing the sea and mountains in the distance, with its pool that usually has very few people and you can enjoy it, it also has a spa but it is paid, here it did seem a bit expensive to me, but it looks very good, the staff is a 10, especially the cleaning lady (Ana) and the maintenance technician (Oche) with whom I spoke a little more, super professional when it comes to finding solutions to what you propose to them, lovely people! In the dining room it was also very good, both at breakfast and for the rest of the meals, we tried almost the entire menu and very good service from the blonde French waitress and Manolo, I think that was also the name of the dining room manager. Very grateful and we will surely return."
