"We stayed here for a week in July as a family of four with two teenagers, booking two adjacent rooms through Booking.com. Even in the height of high season, the hotel had a genuinely relaxed atmosphere that we weren’t expecting. Calm pool area, plenty of sunbeds, towels always available, no scramble at 7am to claim a spot. That alone was worth a lot. The hotel feels new or very recently renovated. Everything is fresh and well-maintained. Breakfast was good, a solid spread with enough variety to keep teenagers happy across seven mornings. There’s a gym, a spa, and bikes available to rent which we thought was a nice touch. Breakfast was very good. Once again, a calm no rush experience. Location-wise, it sits between Puerto Banús and Marbella, about a 15-minute walk to Puerto Banús and a short taxi into Marbella centre. The beach is just a 3-minute walk, which is better than a lot of hotels charging similar rates. The one honest caveat: it’s not surrounded by restaurants, cafés or shops. You’re not stepping outside the door into a strip of options. We didn’t find that a problem because we spent most of our time at the pool and went out in the evenings, but worth knowing if you want convenience on your doorstep. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The two rooms weren’t adjoining but were adjacent, which worked fine for us. Overall, exactly what we needed. Peaceful, comfortable, well-run, and good value for a July stay on the Costa del Sol. Would return."
