"Taxi drop-off is on a street
Entrance is nice
General presentation of hotel is good
Hallways & doors are nice
No porter/concierge on arrival or leaving. It’s DIY
There is one lift to all floors
It was nice that they upgraded our room and had it decorated for our special occasion.
If your arrival date means you miss lunch, you should be told that you can have lunch on the day you are leaving. However, on your leaving date, if the time means you will not get to have breakfast, do ask for a takeaway breakfast. The option of the takeaway breakfast was not mentioned when we checked in, although they did mention we could have lunch
Superior Room reasonable size but could be bigger. It has an odd layout with nowhere except the bed to open suitcases in our room
Room - To use the safe, you have to pay 5 euros a day or 20 for a week - strange
Beds - if you are taller than 5ft 9, your feet will hang over the edge. I did not have a problem, but my husband did.
Do pack a box or travel pack of tissues, as none are in the room.
Spa Treatments: book as soon as you arrive; otherwise, availability is limited. They do massages, facials and balancing stuff. No mani/pedi, foot massages or hair salon-type treatments.
You have to pay for spa towels and robes.
Spa area - indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and spa. You have to pay approx 16 euros, but all-inclusive guests get a discount so it’s 11 euros per visit. You can book this as part of your hotel stay or pay as you go.
There is a jacuzzi (if you are under 4ft 11, it’s not the most comfortable. Only one handrail to hold as you go in.
There is 1 steam room and 2 saunas. Both are good.
There is a cold water dunk pool for those who like that kind of thing.
The swimming area includes the waterfall feature for your back or shoulders and is approx. 15m long (I’m not good at measurements).
There are a few different options for showers, including hot-to-cold spray, pulling the cold-water bucket, side jets and normal showers.
There are hooks for towels & robes, but you will have to ask for help if you are under 5ft 2, maybe 5ft 4
Bring water with you, as there is a drink there that may be iced tea, but it’s room temperature
There are 4 places to lie down within the spa area, so timing is important. You can turn these on, and they get warm
Main Restaurant - day 1 impression - lots of variety, but if you have allergies, avoid certain foods or, like me, can't eat certain foods, you may struggle. Ask someone to assist if you're not sure about things and where there are no labels. There is fish every day.
They can also make something for you if you give them notice and they know how to.
They don’t do poached eggs or a chicken curry 😊
If you like spicy food, bring your own spice
Bistro - if all-inclusive, there is a special menu, which is not bad. Shame there isn’t pizza or pasta on this menu
Drink selection - all inclusive, there is a good selection to choose from. Premium drinks like Coke, RedBull, Corona, Jameson, Belvedere, Bacardi, etc you get 30% off
If the weather is bad, there's no area in the hotel with cards, games, a pool table, darts, etc. There is a chill out area with books, table & chairs, so take your own things to do
Entertainment is very bland unless you like a one-man or one-woman singing show with backing tracks, or a magic show. They did have a guitarist and flamenco dancers one evening, but the banging of the shoes on the floor can get very loud."
