"We have just returned from a lovely stay at L’Azure Hotel in Lloret de Mar and overall we had a really enjoyable experience. From the moment we arrived, the hotel made a great first impression. We were very kindly given a complimentary upgrade to a Deluxe Pool View room, which was such a lovely surprise. The room was modern, spacious and very comfortable, with robes, slippers, water, tea and coffee facilities and a lovely view over the pool. The bed was really comfortable too. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean throughout. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job every day and we even came back to lovely swan towel displays on two occasions, which was such a nice little touch. A special thank you has to go to Georgina, who was really helpful before we arrived and helped make our stay feel special from the start. The communication before our stay was excellent and everything was handled really well. The reception staff were lovely too, especially Elena at Reception, who made our arrival easy and was always friendly, welcoming and approachable whenever we passed reception. We stayed half board and enjoyed the food. The restaurant could get busy around opening time, but the staff worked hard and were always welcoming. A very special mention has to go to Jacobo at La Plaza Restaurant. He was so friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. He always took the time to speak to us and make sure everything was okay, and he really made us feel looked after. The rest of the restaurant team were also lovely and worked hard to make everyone feel welcome. I also want to mention Maria from the entertainment team. She was such a lovely, friendly young woman, always smiling and welcoming. I only got the chance to properly speak to her later in our stay, but she was very warm and easy to talk to and definitely deserves a mention. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday during our stay and the hotel surprised him with a birthday card and chocolates, which was a lovely gesture and really appreciated. We really enjoyed the rooftop infinity pool, which is a beautiful area to relax. The hotel has a modern feel throughout and we found the Wi-Fi reliable during our stay. There seemed to be more organised activities for children in the Aqualand area, but not a huge amount going on for adults around the main pool during the day. We did see adult aqua aerobics later in the day, and the evening entertainment started around 10pm. This didn't spoil our stay, but I think it's worth mentioning for adults who like lots of daytime activities around the pool. Location-wise, we found the hotel convenient, with the beach and shops around a 10-minute walk away. We also used the hotel as our base while exploring more of the area, including trips to Barcelona and Tossa de Mar. I felt L’Azure offered very good value for money. Considering the standard and cleanliness of the hotel, the facilities, our half-board stay and the level of service we received, we were very happy with the overall value. The complimentary room upgrade was an unexpected bonus and made our stay even more special. What stood out most for us was the staff, cleanliness and all the little personal touches. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and welcoming, and those things really do make a difference when you're on holiday. We would happily stay at L’Azure Hotel again and would recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Lloret de Mar. "Home Sunday after a short 4 day break with my wife and 19 year old old daughter and our stay was perfect. This was our 2nd stay here in lazure and it was as good if not better than our 1st stay over a year ago. We were in a 3 bed room over looking the pool on the 1st floor and it was excellent with everything we could want in it (except a 3rd chair for the balcony), with 3 beds in the room, the room was still very spacious and not cramped and there was plenty of storage space and the bathroom and shower was very good. The food is just wonderful in the hotel, we were half board, breakfast was very good but dinner was the star of the show with plenty of choice and everything fresh and of excellent quality. The alcohol is very reasonably priced and again very high quality. The rooftop bar and pool is very good with great views particularly at all times. Location is excellent with beautiful streets to wander just a short walk from the hotel and you don't have to go near the strip if you don't want to. Staff is what really makes this hotel and their level of service and care is second to none and to me they are the biggest asset of the hotel. We will be back again as lazure has everything and more that we look for when we go away."
