Tivoli Avda Liberdade A leading hotel of the World

"An excellent high end hotel in the heart of Lisbon with many shops, good restaurants and outstanding customer service. From the doormen, front desk staff, concierge and restaurants, this is a top notch hotel. It has two very highly rated restaurants which deliver consistently good food and service. While reservations for the restaurants are required, and I suggest you make reservations, we were lucky enough to get a table for early dinner on a Saturday. But within an hour, the place was full. Rooms are very good size, with high end amenities (like Nespresso machines). It’s walking distance from a number of good restaurants if you don’t want to stay in place. And it’s walking distance to the marina although on the way back it would be uphill. We highly recommend this hotel."

"Beautiful hotel in the middle of a beautiful street. The hotel staff and attached restaurants and bar staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were very well taken care of and thoroughly enjoyed our stay"

"We've been at the Tivoli for several days while availing ourselves of private tours taking in the history, incredible cuisine, architecture and rich culture of Lisbon. The Tivoli staff have been wonderful from checkin with Pedro (there are apparently several and I'm sure they are all good) to breakfast service from Leticia and the attentive bar staff at the end of the day we could not have asked for more positive interactions and excellent service. As sometimes happens, I also needed to call on maintenance staff who were helpful and professional. The hotel is very well situated if you are inrerested in getting out and walking around Lisbon. We went to museums, restaurants, to Avenedo on the ferry and rode on the iconic no 28 tram, visiting as many areas as we could reasonably fit in. The rooms are well presented and comfortable. I highly recommend a stay at the Tivoli."
