The Albatroz Hotel

"We booked a couple of days of relaxation after walking the hills of Lisbon. Unfortunately all the sea view rooms were booked, so we opted for a collection double room. Still a room in an expensive 5 star hotel. We were given room 103, a beach view room over the kitchen extractor fan. The view was nice. The noise and smells from the extractor fan meant we didn’t sit outside on our balcony. There was also noise from the road and train station. The patio doors sealed well and the air conditioning worked well. Although it would have been nice to have opened the doors to let the fresh air in. The hotel itself was immaculate, staff attentive and the buffet breakfast lovely. We spent all of our time by the pool. Towels provided and plenty of sunbeds. Only stay here if you can get a sea view room."

"This is a lovely hotel perfectly located for everything in Cascais. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful duplex suite with a dreamy view over the ocean. Breakfast, lunch and drinks were all of a high standard. We hope to return, as clearly a lot of guests do. Recommended."

"Lovely hotel, pleasant staff and great location. However, ruined by the groups of rowdy American tourists it seems to attract. If you like hearing people shout their conversations to each other and playing music from bluetooth speakers by the pool, then this is the place for you. If you’re looking for a place for a quiet couples holiday, I’d look elsewhere."
